   We wandered the grounds and looked at the ancient gravemarkers left behind by those who once populated this second oldest city in Georgia. Folks were gathering for services and were very friendly to us. Worth going a little out of the way to study something of our past - the site and area is well marked with historic information.    I give this a 5 because location is everything, but WE can definitely do better in making our community movie theater beautiful, with a little paint and updating the decor. I enjoy living in Thomson, and just because we are a small city, we don’t have to look like this is a poor and poor community....what I mean, poor financially and poorly managed. We can definitely do better. If you ever decide to renovate, tag me in....I’ll volunteer. Just my thoughts. See more..
