We have been to many different botanical gardens. Manito Park is not as elaborate or impressive as some of the other places we have visited, but it is free and is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Probably the most interesting places in the park are the conservatory, Rose Hill, and the Duncan Gardens. You may get a different experience at different times of the year. I have seen pictures of the Duncan Gardens with very vibrant colors. At the time of our visit the plants were a bit more muted, but it was still a pretty area to see. The conservatory had a decent collection of tropical and succulent plants. The park can get crowded and parking can be limited, but we were able to find a place to park without issue even in the middle of the day. On the whole, I highly recommend visiting Manito Park. Is a great place to experience the outdoors and nature with plenty of flowers to see. See more..

  3. 5.0 Whistle Punk Brewing (16 reviews)
    - Great beer/location in Spokane
    Whistle Punk Brewing image
There is an amazing brewery in Spokane, WA? Yup! My wife and I were staying at the nearby Montvale hotel, and stopped by Whistle Punk Brewing because it was close, and boy are we glad we did. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and knowledgable. We each had a sampler of beers, and they were all very good! Perhaps we were ignorant to the craft brewing scene in Spokane, but we were very impressed by what we tried at Whistle Punk and would recommend it to anyone looking to get a drink in the Spokane area.
