Airboat Express tour was one of the highlights of our beach trip! We had a broad range of ages and everyone loved it from the 3-year-old, the teenagers, and even the grandparents. We booked a 1-hour eco tour but upgraded to the combo tour after we arrived so that we could get a little bit of speed (completely safe, not scary at all even for the youngest child.) Having an interest in ecosystems, the Delta, plant and wildlife, and being an avid amateur photographer, I found that Jimbo was the perfect person to address and accommodate all of those interests. Jimbo's vast knowledge along with his humble and gentle sense of humor made this journey outstanding. My wife and I camped in our RV at the campground in Lake Blakley state park and we loved it, very quiet and sited are spaced far enough apart to feel like you are secluded but not totally by yourself, the area is beautiful and wooded and has shady spots and just enough sun to enjoy the cool days outside the camper without being too cold. They have full hook ups and fire rings and you buy fire wood at the check in office for $6.00 a bundle. All sites are pull through sites with gravel and have picnic tables at each site. This was our first time to visit Mobile, didn't know what we would do while we were here. We always like to visit all of the Bass Pro shops when we are near one and this one didn't disappoint. All of the employees were very polite and very helpful. My wife and I decided to have lunch at the restaurant inside of the store, it was very good.
