The entire staff impressed me, with their knowledge, know-how to get it done, what I needed. They didn't try to "over sale," anything. Being in the market for a new Janome Embroidery machine, on my visit they had a sales rep from Janome in store. We ran over what I wanted my machine to do for me, the sales lady and the rep sold me on the Janome 500e. I couldn't be happier - Marietta's Quilt and Sew has exceeded all my expectations for my "go-to shop" for all my sewing needs. Largest selection of everything you'll ever need. At the Upstate Pinball & Arcade Museum, we offer a fun experience for all ages. Whether you come to experience the nostalgia of the late 20th Century or to find out what exactly there is to love about colored blocks moving across a screen, our diverse collection of pinball machines and video arcade games can guarantee a good time. We have items from the solid-state days of pinball in the 1980's all the way up to games created just a few years ago. You can find retro consoles and classic arcade games from the golden age of the arcades (1977-1987). You can read about the history of many of the pieces we have on location at the museum and we will have rotating pieces of pop culture from the late 70's to the mid to late 80's. This is really a nice place to meet up with friends and have a great time. We went early afternoon on a Friday. One of my friends recommended that we stop in when in the area. We chatted a long while with Julie, the owner. She is so very nice! She sells items locally made, which is really nice for the community. The atmosphere is really great. They have different events during the week. They do not cook food but they do pair up with different restaurants for events. It's a great place to do some wine tasting, listen to different types of bands, or to just one singer. The seating capacity is only 50, so get there early. Excellent park in every way! We came here with our 1, 2 and 4 year olds. As the day progressed I noticed that this park was adequately staffed, and the staff was warm and friendly. I also noticed the aquatic staff concentrated on keeping the kids in the water safe; meaning they were focused on the task. I never caught them socializing or being distracted which is a huge plus for a busy waterpark. The staff was very helpful getting us on and off the tubes. The facility in general was clean and the bathrooms were kept very clean too. All around we had a very pleasant experience and appreciated how the staff took their job seriously. See more..

I have seen a couple different concerts here, and have enjoyed them immensely. Both times I sat in the sections with actual seats, which I think helped solidify my enjoyment. The seats are extremely close to the stage, and you get a great view. The acoustics are pretty awesome as well! There are only a few negatives. First of all, while the parking event staff do a great job when everyone is arriving, departure is a free-for-all. Secondly, apparently Simpsonville has a noise ordinance after 11 PM, so concerts will end pretty abruptly if they reach that mark. Finally, it's kind of annoying that most events are non-refundable if the weather doesn't cooperate. I understand it's outside, but come on. I’d at least like a credit to put towards another event. Other than that, it's a wonderful place to spend a night listening to great music, and I will definitely be back! See more..
