I needed a day pack for my bicycle and rode up on a day that the store was closed. The owner was nearby, saw me, asked me what I needed, opened the store, and took care of me as if I was a longtime customer. I had never met the man before in my life. What great customer service! See more..

They have loads of vintage clothes arranged according to the decade they’re from...plus 4 floors of vintage accessories for your home, and a cute little coffee shop on the third floor. 7. 5.0 Art Impressions Gallery and Framing (1 review)
    - Art Impressions Gallery and Framing: a Wonderful Shop for Art Fans
    Art Galleries
Staying at Hotel Bothwell for my wife's high school reunion. Looked out my window and saw this shop across the street on Ohio. A wonderful little shop in the downtown area of Sedalia, just blocks off the Missouri Katy Trail. They have an outstanding selection of art in a good range of media: pottery (my favorite), wall art and paintings, photography, and MUCH more. I was blown away by the quality of the pottery: bought 2 mugs with exceptional glazes that will add a smile to morning coffee or a pottery shelf display. Anyone interested in exceptional art at reasonable prices should visit this shop on trips to or thru Sedalia, and take home a prize! I'm looking forward to our next visit. See more..

  9. 4.5 Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site (116 reviews)
    - Our adventure was well worth the drive!
    Historic Sites
Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site image
With a commanding view from atop a bluff, Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site is one of the best representations of early 20th Century sensibilities in the Midwest. Walk through the 31-room, 12,000-square-foot lodge built atop two natural caves by Sedalia lawyer John Homer Bothwell. You will marvel at the owner’s eclectic tastes and how a country gentlemen furnished a recreational lodge for himself and his friends. Most of the furnishings in the house are original, and the property also has a three-mile hiking and mountain biking trail. See more..
  10. 4.5 Trails End Monument (41 reviews)
    - Beautiful
Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Monuments & Statues
    Trails End Monument image
Trails End Monument is a wonderful attraction in Sedalia. Though it is visible from the two major streets, it is worth getting out and exploring in detail by walking around the monument. A nice sidewalk has been built just for that. The parking lot for the monument is accessible through the Missouri State Fair grounds. The well-built historical monument depicts the history of trails and railroad of Sedalia. A free audio tour can be dialed up on the phone while walking around the monument. This is certainly a worthwhile stop in Sedalia. See more..

  12. 4.5 Daum Museum of Contemporary Art (13 reviews)
    - Elegant Art Museum
Thursday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
Daum Museum of Contemporary Art image
Daum Museum of Contemporary Art is a relatively small museum on the campus of State Fair Community College in Sedalia. Though, internet navigation found the place easily, signs are lacking on the roads leading to the museum. And once you are on the campus, you have to search for the museum in a campus map. Anyway, the search is worth it for this elegant museum. Two galleries were open when I visited, and spent about a half hour viewing the art works leisurely. The artworks on the grounds are also interesting. See more..
  13. 4.5 State Fair Community College Dinner Theatre (2 reviews)
    - Haven't had the dinner but plays are fantastic
    Theaters • Dinner Theaters
I haven't done one of the dinner theater performances but I regularly attend the plays. The students do such a great job on make up and stage set up and the acting is great. I have enjoyed all of the plays I have attended. Plus it is so cheap and beats going to the movies any day! See more..
  14. 4.0 Leisure Park (1 review)
    - Nice Place Again
Game & Entertainment Centers • Miniature Golf
My parents and I have now been here twice, and both times my dad and I miniature golfed. The price for games is very reasonable (I think it was $5 per person), and the players get choose their ball color and putter. Both times we've been, one of the courses has been torn up, but the one that remains is very nice. This year's game seemed to go much faster than last year's and the original bright spark seemed gone, but it was still fun. The final hole is the funniest with a queen's hole and a king's hole. I would definitely suggest heeding the signs and watching for uneven ground because there is some in places. Inside, there are many arcade games, pool tables, and an air hockey game. There's also a snack bar where you can buy a few items, like hot dogs, chips, and drinks, and a working jukebox. There are also two coin operated cars (just outside the front) and a coin operated horse (inside) little kids can ride. Across from the miniature golf and arcade games, there's also a go kart race track. There's a lot you can do here. See more..
