Spent More than 3 hours Biking Trails

The 52 mile Heart of Vilas county is amazing for biking. Running through Mercer,Manitowish Waters,Boulder Junction,Sayner,and St. Germain,Wi. I discovered this place last year on a 4 day bike trip. I loved it. It is beautiful,and very well maintained. I ended coming back in September for another 4 day trip. So much of it is cutting through the woods with beautiful trees,rivers,and bridges. I was in heaven riding through this special place. I will be back for a week of biking this summer. I really believe that the Manitowish Waters bike trail is the best trail that I have ever ridden. It is stunning. Anyone who is into biking needs to ride these trails,you won't be disappointed. See more..

SUP yoga with Lynn at Cedaroma was the highlight of our Northwoods vacation this summer! My daughter, granddaughter, and I enjoyed doing yoga on the beach every morning and then finished our trip with the SUP yoga on Saturday morning. Lynn is an excellent yoga instructor. She is sweet, patient, fun and accommodating. Practicing yoga on the paddle boards was difficult but there was no pressure to be perfect. It was a fun and relaxing experience. The view was incredible! After the class was over, Lynn let all of the participants row their paddle boards across the lake and back. This is something my granddaughter and daughter really wanted to experience. We feel grateful to have met Lynn! See more..

The sweetest ladies run this shop, are very helpful and know their stuff, and think nothing of inviting you to just sit, knit, and gab in a comfortable place around the table. They have lovely yarn and all the needles, etc you'd want (or had forgotten at home!). High quality. I can't stress how friendly, helpful and kind these people are. The locals come here to knit and gab. As visitors we were welcome to join them if we wished. Rainy days would be fun to be here if you are a knitter or interested in knitting. It is a knitting and supply shop that really can supply your needs while capturing the down to earth and salt of the earth nature of the locals. Stop in to buy your supplies, or stay and knit and gab. The amount of time you spend there is your decision. A definite place to go when it's raining. See more..

First, the owner is amazing and he goes above-and-beyond to ensure your experience is everything you can imagine. Last year he took the time to ensure my son was comfortable riding a horse. Then we did a long ride on Sliver and that's all my son talked about. This year was all about the batting cages as my son is now in AA little league. The owner did all he could to get those cages working. We so appreciate it. Today, there was an issue with the rain and again, the owner did all he could to ensure we had a great experience. He offered us a credit which was unnecessary. Because of his commitment to customers we just spent more time on the go-karts, eating ice cream and playing in the arcade. I can only imagine how challenging it is to run a business, especially during a pandemic, finding great employees, investing in the many enhancements, and dealing with the crazy weather on top of it all. I just want to say 'thank you" and we will visit Elmer's every time we're in town! See more..

They have expanded and have so much snowmobile history here. The last time I was here it was a one building with poor lighting. Now it is a new building with great lighting and more stuff and displayed so much nicer. It is really great to see how they have grown. It is really nicely displayed and worth a visit. My husband and I spent a wonderful August afternoon playing this 18 hole course. Wow, what a beautiful course. The greens and fairways were in beautiful condition. For those of you who like an older style course, this is it. Some of the fairways are narrow, bordered by gorgeous pines and hardwoods. Pace of place was kept by the rangers who monitored the course on a regular basis. We will go back! See more..

The management here is looking for ANY REASON to grab your deposit and money when renting snowmobiles. The first ones we rented had the engine light come on from the start. We told them about it and they said it was “OK”. We left and within 2 miles the sled cratered and WE towed it back to the shop. No discounts, no apologies, nothing from the shop. Then we were charged excessively for damages on another sled, basically blackmailed Into “$535 or your full deposit $750” charged on their word only. Asked for receipts and was told to leave the store. Never received proof or receipts, just a $535 charge. Do NOT RENT OR BUY THERE! You have been warned. Still to date have not received ANY justification or receipts, just an extra exorbitant charge based on their word. The photo is us having to tow back one of their broken down sleds. Go elsewhere, plenty of other rental places that are reputable. See more..
