  1. 5.0 Canaan Zipline Canopy Tour (181 reviews)
    - First Timer
    Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
    Canaan Zipline Canopy Tour image
I normally don’t do reviews because I truly believe they are all fake. Zipline was my crazy cousins idea and I was skeptical however I under estimated how much fun I would have. We had Mackenzie, Jackson and Aden! They were AMAZING! They made us feel comfortable, safe and gave us lots of laughs! We did the bootleg tour and it was well worth the money! My only recommendation would be for them to provide more options to take pictures during the experience. For example, pictures that actually show how high up in the air you are and pictures of you zipping across the river. Other then that I would definitely go again. If you are not scared of losing or dropping your cell phone I would highly recommend you bring a disposable camera or an old phone that you don’t use anymore to take pictures during the experience. You can definitely wear a sports bra and just puts it in your bra while you’re zipping. See more..

I found this store on Google and I'm so happy I did. It's so beautiful. We visited at the beginning of the Christmas shopping season and the entire store is like a Christmas wonderland. Every kind of Christmas decor you could ask for and many other treasures for gifts or for yourself. It has a nice flow to it so you can browse from room to room and discover many different new and vintage items. The 2 ladies who helped us check out Wendy and Jordan were so nice and welcoming. I can't wait until I find my way back to Rock Hill to see what new treasures I might find here. See more..
  10. 5.0 Founded In Truth Fellowship (1 review)
    - Great worship, teachings, and fellowship!
    Spent 1-2 hours Cultural Events
Me and my family visited Founded in Truth Fellowship in June of 2022 while traveling down to Florida, and it was a fantastic experience. Then church reads the entire Bible, keeps the Sabbath, and loves Jesus! The worship is incredible and the sermons, or teachings, really are good. The pastor here pulls in a lot of history, which I really appreciate, and then he brings it together in a way that is actually applicable. I love how they begin their services with a summary of that week's Torah Portion followed by blessing all of the children under a shawl. They are very intentional about the focus on the next generation, and that is something rare. Highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for good fellowship with God loving people. Piedmont Medical Center Trail image
Great place to walk along the catawba River. It felt safe. There were families, dog walkers, leisure bicyclist, joggers and others. It’s a few miles long and backs up to homes in some areas. There were deer in a few wooded places and also in a meadow. The entrance has shops, restaurants and an amphitheater. I imagine when covid ends, it will be even more enjoyable. See more..
  17. 4.5 Old Town Amphitheater (24 reviews)
    - Excellent Downtown Venue
    Theaters
    Old Town Amphitheater image
One of our favorite performers was booked here, so we decided it was time for a road trip. We knew little about Rock Hill and had never heard of this venue, but what a great surprise! High-5's are due all around to the city fathers or the civic group responsible for this facility and events. It's a beautiful intimate outdoor facility, well terraced so that all seats have an excellent view of the stage. It is small enough that there are no bad seats, but large enough that the seating is not cramped. The event was well organized and extremely well run, with plenty of staff spread around to assist with seating and questions. Ample free parking was available close to the facility. Old Town Amphitheater is a great example of how to revitalize a downtown area. See more..

    - Impressive!
    Biking Trails
    Giordana Velodrome image
There are only about 29 velodromes in the US. This one is open to the public and is managed by the Rock Hill Parks & Rec department. It is beautiful, clean, fast, and the people there are wonderfully friendly and eager to help you get started. Special equipment is needed, you cant just brink your bike from home and ride. But they have all that you need, will train you on how to use it and will provide lessons and mentoring to get you started. Truly a wonderful benefit of living in Rock Hill! Even if you dont have time or equipment, it is a great place to visit just to see it in action! See more..

    Rock Hill Brewing Company image
Boutique Craft Brewery downtown in a converted historic building with great open atmosphere and seating in the middle of the brew tanks themselves. Served directly out of the 200 gallon tanks, it’s the freshest beer you have ever had. Specializing in traditional American, German, and Belgian styles, the brewery won 5 awards at their first state-level competition after only having the doors open 6 months. And if you are hungry, they have partnered with Millstone Wood-fired Pizza, Salads, Sandwiches, deserts and more, available directly at your table in the brewery. See more..
  22. 4.5 Strikers Family Sportscenter (11 reviews)
    - No Mask Relief
    Bowling Alleys
    Strikers Family Sportscenter image
I saw the previous post and just had to reply with our own personal experience. So sick of the masks! Statistically, just useless face diapers to begin with. If you feel safe with the mask, knock yourself out. This is one of the few places where you can have fun with your family and not have to worry about damaging your immune system with your own CO2. The family had a fantastic time, the people there were very friendly. It was also nice to see a very diverse crowd, everyone happy and talkative. Highly recommended to get you and your family out of the house! See more..

    - Good cold brew
    Breweries
    Slow Play Brewing image
There are multiple micro-brews now in rock hill, and SlowPlay has the best brews hands down. Comfortable atmosphere, outside tables, dog friendly and has a food truck available. Has become our ‘go-to’. Not only do they have their own beers, but also has a few ‘guest’ beers to try if you prefer. See more..
  25. 4.5 Dust Off Brewing (2 reviews)
    - Great selection, a little cramped though
    Breweries
    Dust Off Brewing image
Really enjoyed this brewery. Thought they had a great selection and a wide variety. Was able to get a flight (which seems like a rarity during COVID) and they were all great. A bunch of people had their small children here. I thought that the brewery was on the smaller side and not a great place to bring children, but maybe that’s just me. Will definitely be back, I highly recommend this brewery. See more..
  26. 4.0 Catawba Cultural Center (19 reviews)
    - Very nice-with great walking trail!!
    Speciality Museums
    Catawba Cultural Center image
The Cultural Center is located in an old school house building on the Catawba Indian Reservation. It serves as an educational center for people to learn about the history and interesting culture of the Catawbas. Inside the center are excellent examples of Catawba pottery, baskets and other ethnic/historical items. All are presented in nice displays. The gift shop was very nice. A lot of items for sale at very good prices. The lady working there was very kind in asking and answering any questions we had. There are three trails to walk, but the one I suggest starts at the center and goes down to the Catawba River. Along the trail is a replica roundhouse, an old house replica from the 1900's and various info/display signs telling about the Catawba history and legends. Very fun and informative. The center is FREE. Donations are accepted. easy to follow signs from I-77 will lead you to the reservation. If you like to learn about history and cultures, then I suggest you stop by and enjoy. See more..

    - Little gem in this small town
    Speciality Museums
We are a social group of women from the Fort Mill area who enjoy getting together for luncheons and dinners. Since we were going to a local restaurant I found this museum nearby and we took an hour tour. This is a terrific museum for anyone who wants to know the history of Rock Hill as well as telephone history in general. There are several hands on activities for children and we had a docent tour which was very good. Opened 10-2, tours are given by retirees from Comporium While small, the exhibits are done extremely well and the history, very interesting!! There is no audio tour. No fee and parking right in front of the museum makes it an easy outing. See more..
