    Skydive Paraclete XP image
Once the weather cooperated it was awesome. Be prepared that you might not get to go if the weather is not correct for skydiving. I am horrified of heights but love a challenge. I knew I could trust these guys who do this all the time for years. Moose was my tandem guy and was awesome with his humor. Moose was more than experienced and provided a comforting experience for someone like me. He did a great job pointing things out while we were flying around. He showed me how to guide the parachute myself. It was a blast. You MUST do the video! John was my camera guy and was incredible. He too was a great guy and made the experience extra fun. The video is just incredible. Just do it. See more..

    Wide Open MX Park image
My husband rides dirt bikes and we went with a group to some different tracks in the South and North Carolina areas. Wide Open MX Park was our second stop. I was so impressed with the grounds. They were well kept, beautifully groomed, and the whole area was -- wide open. This park can hold a lot of cars, people, dirt bikes, etc. It is great for first time riders as well as expert riders. The owners are super friendly, very helpful and on site daily. Everyone there was super nice. We ended up staying until dark (the hours are 10 am - ) not specifying an end time. The area was clean and serene, but exciting at the same time. If you are a dirt bike fan, or ride dirt bikes, this track is a must visit/ride. We will definitely be going back again! See more..

  7. 3.5 Rockfish Creek Winery (6 reviews)
    - LOVE LOVE LOVE
    Wineries & Vineyards
Absolutely loved the winery and everything about it. It is a small, local, veteran owned business. You can tell that a lot of time and effort went into each batch, as they are marvelous. It was pretty busy, but we had the best time with the "wine associate" serving us. She was friendly and knowledgeable. There were several wines that weren't available but she explained that there was a seasonal rotation that kept the flavors fresh. There were staples like Raeford Sunset and Raeford Sunrise which were sweet wines, as well as incredible dries like Gentleman's Red and Melio Sangiovese. Every wine name and label had a story, and it was just incredible to hear! WILL BE BACK! See more..
