   Stopped here for a break from driving from New Orleans back to Texas. Had a great experience. The owners were very accommodating. The owner took time to talk and teach our kids about their animals. The kids were able to touch and hold almost any of them, within reason. Be sure to check out the wallaby. Mr Kliebert is a very knowledgeable guide and his son came out and walked with our kids and showed them around. He is doing a great job taking care of his animals and guests while teaching his kids a great work ethic. I look forward to stopping next time I am able, and hope his planned move/expansion goes well. See more..

   The building is super cute. One shop in particular that I couldn’t get enough of had stained glass. The artist was there and so very friendly and helpful. She was sharing stories of her pieces, and even sharing techniques. She offers custom pieces and her prices were VERY reasonable. We purchased several things from her: Christmas ornaments, yard art and a piece that hangs from the window. We will be calling her for a custom piece soon as well.
