  2. 5.0 The Spa at Callaway Gardens (2 reviews)
    - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
    Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spas
So, I saw the spa. but didn't actually get to enjoy it. The reason I'm leaving a great review is because I booked my service at the wrong property due to a web site error. Although usually you are charged for cancelling at the last min. The staff investigated the error, emailed and phone called the property that I booked the service at, contacted their property manager and made sure I wasn't charged anything. Thats tremendous customer service. Thank you so much. Hopefully next time we come back, we will get those massages. See more..

Golfers seeking a real test of their abilities look forward to playing 7,057 yard, par 72 Mountain View, designed by world-famous golf architect Dick Wilson. Tight, tree-lined fairways are characteristic of this true championship course. Mountain View was home to the PGA Tour's Buick Challenge for more than a dozen years. One of Mountain View's most intriguing holes is the par 5, number 6 where the threat of water looms over both tee and approach shots. This hole was ranked as the fourth most difficult par 5 on the Tour by USA Today. See more..

    Pine Mountain Trail image
My wife and I were recently staying at Callaway Gardens and took a day trip to Georgia’s largest state park. We love walking in the woods and this 9049 acre park is a hiker’s dream. There are more than 40 miles of trails. We chose to walk sections of the Pine Mountain Trail and also the Dowdell’s Knob Loop. There are multiple natural terrain trails which wind through hardwood and pine trees. Features include creeks and small waterfalls. Be aware that there are also some narrow and rocky areas. Trails are well maintained and clearly marked. $5.00 daily use fee; No restroom facilities. Wear sturdy hiking boots and take energy bars and water. If you love to hike there is a trail here for you. Many scenic vistas in the park. We had a great time. Highly recommend. See more..

On a recent trip to Callaway Gardens my wife and I along with my daughter, her husband and our five year old Granddaughter visited the Butterfly center. My Granddaughter loves this place and so do we. This is an amazing experience. You walk through one of North America’s largest butterfly conservatories. The glass-enclosed environment is home to a variety of tropical plants where two thousand butterflies flutter freely. Don’t be surprised if a butterfly lands on you. This is both a fun and definitely a learning experience. Definitely worth your time. BTW...There is also a gift Shop where you can purchase unique gifts including seeds to start your own butterfly garden! Currently opens daily at 10am; Saturday at 9am. Free with Park admission. Limited parking. See more..

This is the very first place a visitor must stop at when visiting Pine Mountain. And if you are very lucky Mr. Askew will be there to give you the your tour. The historical center will give the visitors all the history they need to know about this marvelous little town. I can only guess that the last reviewer did not have an appreciation for local history. The displays range from an original member of the Flying Tigers to WWII war heroes. There is also the infamous Mr. Wallace. No spoilers here you will have to visit to find out. Awesome! See more..
