577 Foundation is a fantastic outdoor education experience. It has a geodesic biodome with a koi pond and amazing plants.There is a cool indoor outdoor bee hive that you can watch the bees up close . There is a playground, parking lot and soccer fields. The park is open year-round. Primitive camping is seasonal. The campground is closed November 1 - March 1. This is a primitive campground with no electric or water service. There is a port-a-john available. Each site has a campfire ring and a picnic table. Cost is $10 per night. As of 2016, 107 different kind of native plants and trees are grown in the two Greenhouses and native plant beds. The plants are then propogated into the nature preserves. This is a new church which was completed in Oct 2019. It is the one which our daughter's family goes for Mass as well as other events. It is very modern with beautiful sculptures. The Sculptor also did statues for the Vatican. Fellowship is very high for both members and people stopping by. We have always enjoyed Mass at this place with great sermons and fantastic music. Unfortunately the music is so good that sometimes instead of joining in, you want to just listen and enjoy God's songs. See more..

Built during the War of 1812 by William Henry Harrison, Fort Meigs successfully defended Ohio from a combined force of British and Native Americans during the spring and summer of 1813. It also served as the step-off point for General Harrison's invasion of Canada in the fall of that year. Reconstructed in the 1970s and again in 2000 on its original location, Fort Meigs stands today to tell the story of the thousands of soldiers who lived, fought, and died there over 200 years ago. Riverside park is a beautiful quiet spot to relax and view the beauty of the river. They have swing benches and great lounge chairs to river gaze. Be aware there is no parking at the location. We parked at Hood park down the street and then walked there which is about 4 blocks. There is a nice walk along the river. See more..

The 60.9-acre property was donated by the Sawyer family. The site is an old limestone quarry and with stairs that go down into the quarry. There are artifacts and geological features to explore. This is home to the Wood County Park District's rappelling program. Please take only photos and leave only footprints. The trail system is currently under development. There is one 1/2-mile trail. Thw two houses on the property are open for programs and events. Special use permits for scouting groups are available to participate in camping.
