   I am not a very religious person but there is something so moving about the beauty of religion when it’s done right. We were met by 2 people when we got out of the car at the chapel. So friendly and welcoming. It’s a short walk around to the various grottos. A nice descriptive pamphlet is available at the chapel and also signposts along the way.    We live in Fenton and we were there in 25 minutes and dropped our canoe right in off the parking lot! We had an awesome, no hassle float trip. We floated on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and there were no large crowds or rowdy people. The water was very clean and our bus driver (also the owner) was so nice and kept us entertained the whole bus ride home with jokes and stories. He mentioned he is retiring, so we want to wish him good luck and thank you for a great day! See more..
