The memorial is built right on the lakeshore of Lac la Belle and is located close to downtown Oconomowoc. The site was renamed Oconomowoc Memorial Park in 1983. Dedicated in 2015, it is a beautiful monument to pay respect and honor to the veterans of all branches of the service for their bravery, valor, and service to the nation. It is a tribute to the past war heroes who fought for the freedom we relish. A total of 3790 records are inscribed on the wall. Nomad Boardsports’ service is appealing from the moment I navigated their website. It was very easy to reserve a tandem kayak for a Saturday morning. Checking-in was quick & easy. The Lac la Belle Historic Boat Tour was phenomenal! What a beautiful, fun way to divulge into Oconomowoc's rich history. I was born and raised in Oconomowoc and I learned so much that I never knew! The views are gorgeous and you can make what you want of it! Bring treats, drinks, a towel/suit, or a blanket--whatever suits you! I surprised my friend for her birthday and set up flowers and a charcuterie board on the boat, and we enjoyed every moment of the tour! Lou was very informative, flexible, fun and helpful! Oconomowoc is a lovely town and Oz Plaza just adds to the charm. While it only takes a few minutes to view, a lot of work was done to create the scene of Oz with life size statues of all the main characters.. even Toto!! There is a swirl pattern that begins the yellow brick road and a mural of Oz on the side of the building where the statues are located, downtown on Wisconsin Ave. in between two buildings. Oconomowoc was actually one of the first towns to show The Wizard of Oz in 1939. There is a plaque that commentates that event. On one end of the alleyway there is the Straw man, Toto, Dorothy, Tin man & Lion, The other end has the wicked witch. On the street infront stands the Wizard. It’s a fun place to visit that’s free and always open. If you are in the area and have an extra literal 5 minutes I would recommend that you drop by. My Girlfriends and I choose this place as our regular meeting stop for our gatherings. Not only is the Staff accommodating but they are always very nice to all of us. The Wine selection is good, the menu itself has a few food options (not a lot, but enough to go with a glass or two of your favorite wine) They atmosphere is very comfortable, and they have a downstairs with tables and chairs and a nook for a more private meeting space to use. Open year round 9 to 5. The gate is locked after hours. This small zoo has livestock, mini horses, alpacas, sheep, goats, rabbits, and a beautiful peacock that roams the grounds. Located behind the Concord Mobile Gas Station & General Store. They ask that you not bring food in since they can’t control what is being fed to their animals however, feed cones and carrots are available to purchase inside the store. You can walk right up to their enclosures and they will run over for attention but mostly to be fed. There’s no staff inside the zoo but you can tell that the animals are well taken care of. No admission fee but accepts donations. Although it’s very small it’s worth a visit if you are in the area. The general store/ gas station is pretty cool too. See more..

Decent gaming experience, varied types of missions. WORD OF CAUTION however. . . be sure to double check your receipt to make sure you were charged the proper amount. I was overcharged. Afterward, I sent an email questioning the amount billed. They replied, admitting they overcharged me. I sent subsequent emails over a month's time in an effort to resolve the overcharge. Since their initial reply, they've not responded. If you avoid any issues like the one I had, you'll probably have a good experience. Given their awful customer service, I do not plan to return anytime soon. There are too many other venues for me to spend my entertainment dollars. See more..
