- 5.0 Common Ground Canopy Tours (213 reviews)
-Perfect Family Adventure
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks • Nature & Wildlife Tours
During a visit to Lake Erie we took a detour to Oberlin for the canopy tour zip line adventure. We took our two 14-year-old boys and had an amazing time! The tour guides were a lot of fun to talk with and had lots to share about the trees, the area, silly jokes and had a great way of connecting with the group. We were so pleased with our adventure and would definitely return! Highly recommended. We look forward to more zip line adventures as a family now because our experience was so great. See more..
- 5.0 Allen Memorial Art Museum (111 reviews)
-Fantastic museum
Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Art Museums
For a museum attached to a small college, this place is amazing. It has a wide range of art from antiquity to the present, a really interesting east asian exhibition, and even a Picasso, a Matisse, a Cezanne, a Modigliani, and two Monets. Definitely worth visiting. See more..

- 5.0 Gibson's Bakery and Candy (5 reviews)
-Donuts, candy, cookies, you name it!
Speciality & Gift Shops
No trip to Ohio is complete without a stop (or three) at Gibsons. Their baked goods are always wonderful, but you have to go early to get the best selection, because they can sell out fast! They are an institution, with well over a hundred years in business; I'm an old man now and have been going there all my life. And I plan on going as often as I possibly can. See more..

This is a one-room schoolhouse. It even has a dunce chair for those naughty children. I believe it was built in 1837. It's not original to the property but was moved here. See more..

- 4.5 Oberlin College (67 reviews)
-What a great feeling place!
Educational sites
We were in Oberlin to tour the Conservatory. I immediately fell in love with the campus and my son was surprised at how much he liked it. We had a great experience with the faculty (Peter Slowik is a sweetheart of a man) and experienced a magnificent recital. It was a wonderful visit! See more..
- 4.5 Weltzheimer/Johnson House Frank Lloyd Wright Building (35 reviews)
-First Usonian house in OH
Architectural Buildings
We got to drop in as part of Parents Weekend of Oberlin College. My husband has been fascinated by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Usonian style homes for some time and we were excited to take the tour. Home was designed in 1947 by FLW himself for the Weltzheimer Family. It was later restored to its glory by Prof Johnson as some developers tried to ‘modernize’ it. Amazing to walk through this bit of architectural history! See more..

This is one of the nicest little shops around. There is a wide variety of merchandise and the people are very friendly and helpful.
