I started diving with Rick's back in 1988. I went on several of their trips and attended many of their continuing education classes and even getting my Advanced Open Water through Rick's. I was sad to hear that Rick had passed away back in 2012. Now I've just found out they have gone out of business in 2020. We were driving past, had no clue it was there. I'm Ex-British Army and my wife Ex-US Army so we pulled in. The time, care, construction and design of this peaceful place is exemplary. The place is actually stunning and the state should be proud of it. Death knows no nation, faith or race, as to the field of battle is an awful place and it is why old enemies often find the rare piece of middle ground of comradery in later years, because no one but them had such experiences they can truly share with anyone else. We had a lot of difficulty finding a special place for us to stay as mother-daughter because my newfound daughter is ten years old. A lot of bed and breakfasts were adult-only. I was married a few weeks prior and this was to be our first mother-daughter trip. We planned a trip to New Orleans and Hurricane Barry diverted us to Little Rock. Katherine was able to house us even though it was relatively short notice. The grounds and lodge were perfectly lovely; the silence was exactly what we needed. A labyrinth on the property was a unique touch. There are two friendly pups which only enhanced our time at the property and Katherine went above and beyond with her breakfasts and the flexibility of our arrival. The comfortable whirlpool tub was an added bonus. We would recommend that anyone who needs some peace and relaxation stay here. We hope to be back sometime next year. See more..

Lovely, small, peaceful and unique park...well worth the drive over to North Little Rock from downtown. Nice photo opportunities. Unique benches and bridges made to resemble fallen trees, a waterfall, and the mill itself (which you can go in). Free parallel parking and free entrance. We spent about 30 minutes exploring, watching the ducks and turtles in the pond, and taking photos. See more..

I’ve lived in No Little Rock long enough to remember going to the movie theatre with sticky floors and 2 day old popcorn only to sit in an uncomfortable chair to watch a movie. Not anymore though! The Regal is a wonderful place to enjoy a movie and it’s always clean and first class. I even feel it is safe enough to allow my young teens to visit by themselves. My 10 year-old son and I really enjoyed this antique mall. (He loves military pieces and we found several things he liked. He even bought a knife). The mall is full of different booths, it's well lit, clean, doesn't smell damp and musty like some places, and the people working there were very helpful and friendly. We booked the dinner cruise on the Arkansas River for Saturday evening. We did not have prior reservations. Walked in at 1pm and were able to get booked for the evening cruise. A Big Thank You Roberta!!!! Nothing fancy but we spent a romantic evening on the water watching the beautiful sun go down. The food was buffet style. Choice of 2 meats, 2 veggies, homemade cheddar biscuits and dessert. After dinner we went on top of the boat and enjoyed the rest of the evening. My husband & I play on this course every week in our company league and it's a lot of fun. We've been playing for several years now and have seen MANY improvements over the years. The Tournament side is a little easier and does have Foot Golf but the Championship is much better and a little more challenging to play. There is no Foot Golf on this side. Over the years they have paved the cart path on the Championship side, remodeled the club house, got new carts, and are constantly improving the course. As with anything, improvements cost money & take time and they are ALWAYS working to better the course. The guys who work the club house are very nice and friendly as well. See more..
