This park is one of the largest in Georgia, with miles of frontage to the mighty Chattahoochee River. We came here for the trails, but there are tons of things to do here. There are boat entry points, camping - prepared sites, walk in sites, and even shelters, playgrounds, a beautiful park office and store. Great, clean, facilities near the major trailheads and a great lookout tower that provided very pretty views. The trails includes one that goes the length of the park, with at least a couple of miles of river views. Trail is one way and goes up and down the bluffs, and ends at a small bathroom facility and picnic table. Bring your water and your camera - beautiful, peaceful, hikes await you! See more..

Let me say first off I hate traditional malls. Ashley park to me is like an open air mall. We live about 1 1/2 hours from Chattanooga, TN and we have nothing like Ashley park. At Ashley park you can park right in front of the shop you want to shop at. There are areas for families or friends to just set out in Adirondack chairs. There is also yard games out in the community areas and at night they have alot of lighting for safety. I have to say also Ashley park is very very handicapped friendly. I lots of times have to use a wheelchair due to a car accident. Being able to park near stores instead of walking into large malls makes it easier for me to walk and be independent. Some of the stores we've been in is Bath and Body Works, Creamistry, Great American Cookie Company, Rocket Fizz, Gamestop, and the Popcorn Shop. See more..

A friend of mine once said "Newnan Theatre is better than it deserves to be." Not to knock the theatre, but it's a surprising gem for a small town in suburban (or rural in some people's eyes) Atlanta. It's a great facility and I'm amazed by the talent that exists in this town. They have a nice mix of shows from family friendly to edgier shows I've watched some of the church-going old ladies walk out of saying "I'll come back for A Christmas Carol". Definitely worth going to, but read the description before you go in with any preconceived notions about anything but talent beyond your expectations. See more..

Talk about a place of wonderment...the story of how the gardens came to be, were forgotten and neglected for decades, only to be revived by a lady who happened by one day, is quite a piece of Newnan history. A truly beautiful garden, on par with many gardens I have visited while living 6 months out of the year in the United Kingdom. A great wedding venue...I actually planned a wedding here for a dear friend...staff and management are easy to work with and the wedding was lovely, as the ceremony took place in the terraced theatre. My husband and I were in town and decided to stop in for a beer. They have a really fun atmosphere. There were families with young kids playing outside and a food truck that was serving delicious food. Inside, they had a nice musician playing guitar and singing, games, and multiple TV’s with ballgames on. We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were really nice. They let us sample several beers before we each decided on one. My husband liked the German Blonde and I liked the Blackberry Sour. Our quick trip for a beer lasted two and a half hours and if we lived closer would definitely go often. We would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a beer. See more..

Just about to give up on antiquing in Newnan, when we found this store on the outside of downtown. Well organized, well stocked, some beautiful furniture. Quite a number of wardrobes (clothing cabinets) from children's to adult size..this is what folks stored clothing in prior to closets. Yes folks, old homes didn't have clothing closets, much less walk-in closets. Owner was welcoming, helpful, and willing to haggle. Don't miss this shop. I bought t a 1950's Marx electric train, my wife got antique Christmas ornaments. Parking is good, but busy road..caution pulling out is advised. See more..

I've found their staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly. I don't use the gym or weights but use the locker room and pool daily. Pool is usually not very crowded and is very clean and just what I'm looking for. I've been a competitive swimmer all my life and have managed pools including maintenance and have nothing but positive things to say about the poos at OneLife. The locker rooms are clean and very nice. Showers are particularly good as local clubs I've visited recently all have lukewarm showers and OneLife has showers as hot as ours at home. See more..

My 13 year old son and I love this haunted house. Created in the old Playtex manufacturing facility, the haunt is huge and takes some time to get through. There are lots of jump scares and large scale monsters. The scare actors did an outstanding job. We went through the regular line on a Saturday night. We got there about 20 minutes prior to opening and got into the haunted about 20 minutes after opening which wasn’t a bad wait. A great little hip-pocket museum. Being staffed by volunteers, it can be tough to find it open! They have different stuff at different times, all of it to do with our rich history. We are proud of the civil war hospitals we ran here, and this is the only place during the fighting for Atlanta where the Northerners were defeated. It is well worth taking thirty minutes to visit. I shopped at the Kohl's in Newnan several times in November 2020 and also the first week in December 2020. They have this creepy little girl who works there and follows me around like I am shoplifting even though I am an old lady with a cane. She tries to make me feel uncomfortable and will follow me around the entire store and will even wait for me at the front doors as I leave. I cannot tell you how uncomfortable this makes me feel. I pay for what I buy at Kohl's Kayla so you do not have to do things like this. You need to have respect for your elders. Please do not harass me anymore in this store. I am sending this email to corporate also. Kayla, you should not be working in a job that gives you contact with the public. STOP harassing Kohl's customers. See more..
