On a recent trip my wife and I took to Arkansas, we stopped to visit some friends we hadn't seen in many years. After they treated us to lunch, the friends insisted that we had to see a local library, which turned out to be the Donald Reynolds Library. The library was built with a $9.8 million grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation. To say that we were impressed with the facility would be an incredible understatement. As just one of the many features, there's artwork set in the floor, a pathway of paving stones that stretches from one end of the library to the other. It turned out that our friend's sister and husband did the pathway. On a lower level of the library, there's a children's area, complete with life-sized statues. Obviously, my wife and I were just passing through the area and reconnecting with old friends. I could see us spending a lot of quality time in the library if we lived around Mountain Home. First purchase was a flight, which consisted of 2 IPA’s, an Amber and a Stout. All well brewed and tasty. Ordered tune poke bowl for dinner. Business client had Cuban sandwich. We were looking for a place to spend some time during a recent visit to Mountain Home when we read an ad relating to Reactive Tactics. Upon checking in we learned it is a simulation facility which offers shooting experience using laser arms and varied scenarios.
