   Needed something for a party or a gift for any occasion this is the place to come! They have all sorts of trinkets, collectibles, and things that you can purchase to have monogrammed. They also sell clothes, handbags, and jewelry, candles, soaps, and lotions. Definitely a place where you can spend an hour or so looking at all of the things they carry.    What a great time....it was all the brochures said it would be! 2 story, real treehouse, ove-looking the vineyard and horses and creek. Get there on time to spend a full, most enjoyable night, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a little kitchenette! We played cards on the outside deck and had drinks enjoying the view. A BBQ grill was on the deck, but we brought pizza, which we heated in the microwave. Bought some cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay wines at check-in......would recommend the cabernet if you like a light one. Bought wine lipgloss in small bottles, which were great for gifts. Saw another guest stop by at the store,and they bought wine slurpees, but didn't buy one myself. Treehouse was comfy and air conditioned. Heard a DJ playing music until 8 PM, and then quiet reigned. Well worth the value.....went with 2 girlfriends, but great for a romantic evening or two. See more..

   Went to this hidden jewel in Monroe downtown yesterday to use a Groupon. Groupon allows you a total of 6 tastings per person. If you want to skip Groupon then you can just stop by for wine tasting for 5 dollar per person any time, Good selection and very friendly employees. I am not a wine person but I just loved this place. Had a really good relaxing time, Wine here is so good you will end up picking at least 2 bottles. They have a cheese plate with Club crackers and some nachos/popcorn.They had two slushies and some warm apple/cinnamon wine in crockpot too. Try it out you won't be disappointed. See more..

   We went to aw shucks last night primarily to try out the cornfield maze. We did it at night and it was so fun! Aw shucks had a lot of other activities as well such as petting zoo, horse shoes, pumpkin bowling, fishing, corn hole, and the haunted trail (although it is not for the faint of heart so I skipped it). It is reasonably priced and just a great way to disconnect from all the hustle and bustle of technology and just enjoy a little bit of country living.     We were on a “mission” to locate an antique end table. Figured to give A Hidden Treasure a few minutes, then move on. We stayed for over an hour, and found exactly what we wanted. At a very fair price, too. It reminded us of a previous visit where we located a hundred-year old dry sink there. It was in superb condition, and cost far less than some others in other places. Well laid out, not a crowded junk shop, as so many are. The owners are friendly and helpful, and greet you as a valued friend, so unlike some other antique shops.     Took our kids and youth here for a trip. It was really cool to see a bunch of different animals and getting to pet animals that you normally do not get to do. My only complaint was that there was a lot of land and I feel we just didn’t get to see all the animals that they had. Overall a pretty cool place to take your kids and youth to if you love animals.     Had a really nice tour at the two x two petting zoo. My granddaughter, Callie, is eight years old and she especially enjoyed it. We fed many animals, and all went well except for an alpaca spit on her. Something she'll be able to talk about. I mean, not everyone can say that. Especially in our home town. Haha.
