I absolutely love booking with AquaFun! I booked with them for the first time in 2016 and even to this day they still remain very professional, fun, and reasonably priced. My friends and I went out this past Saturday with Captain Tyler and we all had the times of our lives. Captain Tyler was such a blast and before we ended the tour, we booked again for July! It's that great of a time. What I like the most about these tours is that everything is on our time during the time that we book for. The Captain was super easy going and truly took care of us! All I can say is BOOK! BOOK! BOOK! You WON'T regret it! See more..

  5. 5.0 Pontoon Rentals & Tours (2 reviews)
    - Boat tour to see Lake Murray and Purple Martins on island bird sanctuary
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM Boat Tours
    Pontoon Rentals & Tours image
We took a 2 hour boat tour with friends to see the shore line of Lake Murray and the bird sanctuary on Bomb Island, which is in the middle of the lake. The island was originally used by the Armed Forces for target practice during World War II. Lake Murray is the largest man made lake in the world, and has over 700 miles of shoreline. Purple Martins are present in the bird sanctuary from May to September. We saw them flying in to roost at dusk by the thousands. It was a spectacular, unforgettable sight that would be particularly meaningful to bird enthusiasts. The boat captain has lived on Lake Murray for 40 years, and has in-depth knowledge of the lake, as well as many of the people who live on the shoreline. He piloted the boat and made the trip a pleasure. See more..

    - great Art Collective brings artistic creation and appreciation to Lexington

My wife and I appreciate the efforts of the Artists at Lexington art collective who show their works and encourage new artistic development in our town. The works of Jason Freeman , Ginny Merritt and others are highly creative and affordable. Other artists there are starting classes in art for those who are interested in discovering their own hidden talents or just want to enjoy doing art. The spotlight on certain artists at their open house events is very enjoyable. I encourage you all to attend. See more..

I love visiting Wingard’s. I’ve purchased many plants & gifts through out the years. Of all the plants in my yard... only the ones from Wingards have survived the many many seasons of Gilbert SC. Fortunately, the employees at Wingards have assisted happily in helping me find the right plants for my yard. Also, the gifts that I purchase from the Market have been well loved and well received. Prices are reasonable and items are unique. See more..

At the dam, the lake is over a mile wide so it's easy to get in over 2 miles if you just make one round trip. For a pleasant change from a boring routine, take a walk on the dam. Parking is available on both ends of the dam. Also, bring along your kayak - there is a special kayak launch on one end of the dam where you park. See more..

    Virginia Hylton Park image
What an amazing place! I took some of my young children there to spend some good quality time them and I was not disappointed. I found this place on Trip Advisor and I decided to check it out. There are three different playgrounds next to each other with ample slides, swings, monkey bars and places to climb. The best part however is the beautiful nature trail that box along a meandering creek with several small waterfalls. There is a viewing area at the largest of the Little waterfalls that a nice place to either sit or to explore. They will be adding onto the park which will make it even more amazing. There are lots of little creeks and benches a little seating areas. There are pavilions as well so you can either have a nice lunch or even several spots to have a picnic. It is quite shaded which makes it really nice. See wildlife, native plants and enjoy! See more..

From vegetables to jams and jellies, expect the best quality! My grandparents would bring me to Four Oaks Farm Country Store in the 80s; I would love to get the lemon hard candies as a treat. Now, I bring my own child to this store for much more than just candy (although that is her favorite part). My favorite New Crop Boiled Peanuts are found here... boiled fresh each week. My favorite hot pepper jam is found here - the best I’ve ever purchased In SC. Vegetables purchased here make dinner much better. I highly recommend Four Oaks Farm Country Store to all Lexington locals & visitors alike. See more..

  20. 4.0 Mercer House Estate Winery (23 reviews)
    - Love this winery!
Tuesday: Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
    Mercer House Estate Winery image
We love going to Mercer House Winery. It is definitely not your typical winery. All of the wines are unique and they change frequently. We just tried their 2 new flavors, Strawberry Pom moscato, and Cherry pie. Yum! They have wines for every palate. They have dry wines and very sweet wines. They also have some muscadine wines that don't taste like muscadine. Especially their barrel aged Vinum wine. The workers are friendly and very laid back. You may not like every wine, but you will find some that you'll love. I love how adventurous they are with their wine making. I know I can go back a few months later and find some new flavors to try. This is a must go if you are anywhere near the area. See more..

  25. 3.0 Simply Skin by Sonya Heitmuller (13 reviews)
    - Excellent massage
    Spas
The young lady who did the massage was very good. This was a groupon massage with aromatherapy. The choices of oils was limited and my favorite (lavender) was not available because the owner was allergic. The oils did not seem pure, but artificial. That being said, this was one of the best massages I have ever experienced. I actually relaxed and fell asleep several times. Her pressure during the massage was appropriate and she asked during the massage if I needed anything adjusted. I would return for the massage; I would not ask for the oils again. See more..
