   If you’re looking for a great place to take friends and families, Hollow Creek Distillery is the place. Not very far from Columbia or Lexington it’s has the best moonshine, vodka and now slushies around. Craig and Meredith are super friendly and take the time to talk to you about the process, give you a tour of their place and best of all…the samples are free. Yes free!! Who does that these days?    Recently rented a pontoon boat for a day trip with Fifty-Fifty Watersports. These guys were very easy to do business with--good communication, very responsive.    My sons treated me to a morning of paddleboarding on Lake Murray and California Republic was the perfect spot to get out into the calm local waterways. The owner Steve made the logistics smooth, he's very chill and the ideal host for new or experienced alike. He also organizes SUP racing events, tours, paddle yoga if you're into such a thing and Summer Camp. All you need for some good times. Totally worth your business! See more..

Where most are 10-5, they let you have the boat from 9-6, 2 extra hours for lower prices. Our Avalon pontoon boat had the nicest leather seats and a swimming platform off the back.    We were looking for a place to eat on Easter, so we decided to go out on the Spirt, We've been out before, had a good time, so we went again, It's nice to be out on the water, and be able to relax, one thing we always worried about was drunk boaters on the water, being on the spirit is much safer, the boat is steal hull, and a large boat, so if someone hits it, well that's bad for them.
