   what a blast!!! The adventure started out with a thrilling ride across the lake in the airboat before slipping into a swamp via a hidden river. Captain Steve weaved our boat through ancient trees waving strands of Spanish moss. You feel like you’ve gone through a time warp and entered a new world - deep in the bayou. As we made our way down the river, on our way to see one of the many natural springs, Captain Steve pointed out all the wildlife and told stories of the trees and foliage. We saw a lot of alligators throughout the trip and Captain Steve swung the boat around to be sure that everyone got to see each one. Every guest is invited to hold a live alligator, with plenty of time for photos. As an added bonus, we even got to see a bald eagle! Captain Steve was awesome. He was funny, interactive, and very knowledgeable.    I was expecting to be disappointed by what seemed to be a roadside attraction. But I was wrong! We spent over an hour in a gorgeous wetland area, enjoying the absolute beauty of the ecosystem. We saw a vulture colony, incredible birds, gorgeous trees and even an alligator. Captain Joe gave us a great tour and such a fun ride. The boat was safe for families, and went just fast enough to give us a thrill ride. I’m so glad we took a chance on this. It was worth it. See more..

   Called made reservations over the phone for the last trip out. 4 pm was perfect Jerry our Air Boat Captain took our party of five on a ten mile journey where we seen countless baby Gators all the way up to around a ten foot Gator. Seen a Bald Eagle in flight and for the first time observed a Osprey guarding its nest. It's a fun family adventure that is only an hour long but will last a lifetime. $35 for Adults, your teenagers are Adults at BJ's. $25 for a nine year old. See more..

   Spent the morning hiking here with YouTube celeb "Hike with Mike" as our tour guide. 9,554 acres along the Withlacoochee River with 24 miles of roads and trails. We did about 10 miles and didn't even get halfway in. Mike took us to a gator hole full of baby gators, crossed the boardwalk over Mills Creek, and through some of the most beautiful forest in Florida. Restrooms and water available at check station.    DAN sure is working to make the Dam Pub MUCH better. Since my last review he has added a band stage outside and has bands each weekend afternoon. He is even fixing the parking lot!!!! MUCH BETTER FOR THE TWO WHEELED crowd.... his bartenders still rock and you will NEVER find better wings anywhere in Sumter county Florida!!!
