-Awesome local vineyard
Saturday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
This is an awesome place to spend the afternoon with friends and family. The wines are really good and we definitely enjoyed our time today. 5 bottles drunk while we sat and chatted with other patrons. Purchased 6 bottles to take home with us. Have a mix of Juicy Peach and Midnight Blue! That mixture is really good. You will not go wrong!!! The owner and his son are great down to earth guys. Definitely will be going back again. See more..

Spent 2-3 hours Speciality Museums
Must-see!! We stopped in to visit and we were completely impressed with the amount of race cars, racing pictures, facts, and memorabilia and then even more surprised at the music hall of fame!! Really a great place to take the family or by yourself - something for everyone to enjoy! Staff were friendly and the self guided tour is great because you can spend as much or as little time you want on each exhibit! And Curb records had displays from Leann Rimes, Tim McGraw and more… really neat place! See more..
- 5.0 Old Armor Beer Company (5 reviews)
-A Kannapolis Must Do!
Breweries
We love this place and will be visiting again soon. Awesome ambiance, gorgeous comfortable seating inside and outdoors near fountains and a park. There were food trucks nearby and I wanted to spend the whole day sipping and hanging out. My husband loves the Earnhardt Outdoors draft and bought a 6 pack to go. They had good options for non-beer drinkers (me) too and I enjoyed the blackberry wine I bought. Five star experience! See more..
- 4.5 Gem Theater (105 reviews)

This is a fantastic theatre for children as well as adults. A genuine “theatre”. Going here was special and I plan to make this a frequent theatre destination. Willing to drive a bit further, not only due to prices but the atmosphere of a genuine theatre. Highly recommend anyone to experience the “Gem” See more..

-A Fun Day With Our Grandson
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Amusement & Theme Parks
My wife and I took our 3 year old grandson to Village Park today. We rode the train 4 times and the carousel once. He loved the playground areas as well. This is a great park, the prices are reasonable and the staff are all very nice and helpful. We can’t wait to return in a few weeks. This is a favorite when we are in the area. See more..
- 4.5 The Dale Trail (44 reviews)
-Well worth it!
Hiking Trails
The Dale Trail is a self-guided tour around Kannapolis. It also stretches as far north as Welcome, NC and even into Mooresville and down to Concord. It is well-worth it if you can hit every stop on the trail. It is worth the drive to drive up to Welcome to see RCR, and the Museum. I was unsure because it cost $12, but it was well-worth it! Also, right down the road from Welcome is Richard Childress’ Winery. Go to [--] to see all of the points of interest! Oh, and Curb Motorsports is closed, there is nothing to see there. See more..
