It was a dark and stormy night...and yet we still had a fabulous dinner cruise on the Island Rose. We were afraid we would spend the evening in the slip, but Captain Mike navigated the canals, and even a few minutes in and out of the "big water". Randy and Rosa were gracious hosts and Nate was our excellent waiter. The food was delicious, too, which from past experience, is rare on a boat cruise. Many times throughout the evening we were asked if everything was OK, were we having fun, was there anything we wanted or needed...As we disembarked, each woman was given a luscious pink rose for Valentine's Day. What excellent customer service! If you are ever in the Hernando Beach FL area, we would highly recommend the Island Rose dinner cruise. See more..

Caught a giant Grouper! Had to throw back since it was out of season. My friend caught a huge King Macrel. It’s on the smoker now! Joel is an expert and a courteous professional with a fast boat (two 225s). Caught about 40 fish in 4 hours. He also cut up the fish on his dock after. Highly recommend him. See more..

My mom loves going out on this boat and has taken me with her twice. Captain Chaz and mate Rob make sure everyone has a good time. The boat provides license, poles and bait. Although to catch the grouper you should purchase pinfish live from the bait shop next door. Chaz and Rob can identify all kinds of aquatic life (I saw a mantis shrimp for the first time!) and are knowledgeable about size and catch limits. They can get you unstuck from the bottom or untangled super fast so everyone gets to fish as much as possible. Also my mom walks with a cane. They are always super helpful getting her stuff on the boat. See more..
