I love this little tasting room! They have a nice selection of wines to try and it is located in an old hardware store with original floor and storage bins giving it a very nice ambiance. They have a limited menu but the food is fantastic. It is a wonderful place to spend a quiet evening with a date or with friends. Highly recommend it, the atmosphere is wonderful!!! See more..

Friend Country Club is a 9 hold, par 36 course, located in the small community of Friend, in south central Nebraska. This small town takes great pride in its course. The course is challenging, with its hilly layout, equipped with water hazards, tree lined fairways, and sand traps. For a small town, I was struck by how well the course is maintained, compared to other towns similar in size to Friend. The fairways are manicured well, and the greens are in super shape, and were rolled fairly fast the last time I played. The course is located about 50 miles west of Lincoln, but it's definitely worth the trip if you want to play a quality course without too heavy traffic. See more..
