    OPEN AUGUST 1st. Community Orchard is a 50 acre apple orchard located in North Central Iowa. Home decor, fall decor, bakery and the Apple Orchard Cafe round out this venue. Open August 1st til December 23rd. Come see us!! The Back 40 Playground is brand new this fall. It is a 4 acre playground for kids and adults. It features a large jumping pillow, farm tile slide, farm tile rollers, goats, llamas and two pot bellied pigs.... Try the pedal karts, play in the corn box and participate in the duck races.     Love it here to go camping the only reason for four stars not enough full hookups for the big campers. There are several here the few times we have came and have got full hook ups once. Other then that it’s great for family and small children and very safe environment. See more..

    The Blanden is a great, understated asset to this community. I love taking my family there. For Fort Dodge being a smaller city, and one not particularly known for its "culture", there is a great selection of art work. The building is quiet and well kept. It's the perfect little get away for a few hours. I would love to see this grow. See more..
