Auto Racing Tracks
Road America is a great track to race. The safety crew is simply the best. F1 would be so lucky to have this level of professionalism at their tracks. I race here 2-4 times per year and no other track has this level of safety. The corner workers are alert and the safety trucks are quick to get to the incident. The facilities are very good, for a race track, and they seem to be in a constant phase of improvement. They have frisbee golf, the roads are great for run or walk, the showers wake you up with the lack of hot water but so what. It is really a nice place. Plan on not eating there as the food must be low grade prison quality. Cook your own meals or go to Elk Hart. A great lunch place is “Off the Track” phone in your order and save yourself some time. -Beer tasting before dinner, life is good 08/09/22
Monday: Bars & Clubs
We just got off a lake boat ride and had an hour before our dinner reservation at The Paddock club, so walked up the street to this brewery for a few pre-dinner beers. I marked family with teens, but our family has grown up kids in their 20s. I had the chocolate peanut butter porter that was very rich and delicious followed by a brown nut darker beer that was also very stout and good. My son had a pilsner that was very good and some other more hoppy beer that did not fit our taste buds as well. We also had a root beer that was excellent. So families of all ages can find something to drink here!!! Hopefully we can sneak back this week! See more..

- 4.5 Two Fish Gallery (7 reviews)
-ART & GARDEN
Speciality & Gift Shops
Two Fish Gallery is a "not to be missed" destination when in the Elkhart Lake area. The gallery features a wonderful and often whimsical assortment of original art in a wide array of media. Jewelry, paintings, ceramic, wood, raku, glass, and even hand made birdhouses from Africa. The focus seems to be on originality and creativity. The gardens that surround the property are the work of Karen Robison, a noted botanist and educator. Again, the creativity is evident. One walks a path and moves from Alipine meadow to Japanese Tea House to Wisconsin prairie with plants and hard scapes subtly changing along the way. Various ceramic art is positioned along the route. The garden changes from season to season so it is worth multiple visits throughout the seasons. See more..
- 4.5 Brown Baer (3 reviews)
-More than the porridge is just right!
Bars & Clubs
Okay, I haven’t really seen porridge on the menu but there are so many other great things! Soups, salads, sandwiches all a notch above typical bar food. The wings are the best in the area. The Monday ribs in the winter, stellar! Want some corn bread to go with them, no problem. Don’t hesitate to try the specials but be quick, they tend to go fast. A nice selection of tap beers and liquor round out a pleasant experience. See more..
- 4.5 L'ecole de la Maison (2 reviews)
-Wonderful food! Wonderful Time!
Lessons & Workshops
A family reunion at Osthoff Resort (see separate review) included our own private cooking lesson at the hotel's L'ecole. It was better than imagined! The whole event was very well organized, instructions easy to follow and there was lots of help for those of us who don't cook much. But the food was incredible! We had the Italian meal (eight entree dishes and wine) and had left- overs enough for another meal. Would do it again! See more..
- 4.5 Throttlestop Museum (2 reviews)
-A++++++++ I WILL BE BACK!
Monday: Speciality Museums • Auto Racing Tracks
Bought a car sight unseen from 1,100 miles away. The car was everything I wanted it to be. Tom, one of the owners, is probably one of the most genuine, honest guys I have met. The car is great! I would recommend anyone looking for a specialty car to check this place out! See more..
- 4.0 Aspira Spa (58 reviews)
-Couples Massage: First Ever for 60+ yo Husband
Spas
This was our first time at Aspira Spa. My husband and I stayed at The Osthoff Resort on New Year’s weekend, and I talked my husband into getting his first ever massage. Note, we are both in our 60’s. Halfway through he said, “I’m a convert!” Aspira is a beautiful, tranquil facility. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, complimentary water, tea, nuts and trail mix. The pool is located in another part of the resort. Our couples massage was in a large, peaceful room. Masseuses were very attentive to what was appropriate for each of us: pressure, hotness of towels. Excellent experience. See more..
