My (adult) children are still talking about L&R Alpaca Haven Farm! We visited in May, and of all the trip highlights, this was the one to write home about. My daughter has enjoyed all things alpaca for years, and now I understand why. Alpacas are cute, and these guys are loaded with personality. Driving home from a last minute business trip had us stopping for lunch just outside Atlanta. We pulled into a small strip mall and that provided a few options but I’m so glad we opted for pizza! A large banner outside proclaimed that Johnny’s was recently rated #1 in Villa Rica by the readership of a local periodical and we were not disappointed. Wow! That’s the only word I can say after walking into this antique mall. It’s beyond huge. We travel a lot around the country and my wife loves to find antique malls. This one was really terrific. My first time getting a professional massage. My Sister and I were treated to a massage by our cousin, while visiting her for a weekend getaway. The staff were polite, and extremely respectful. The hot stones caught Me off guard! I must admit it was not like I imagined, but I glad it was not a negative experience. I did not know I needed a massage, until I got one. The only reason a 1 was given is that I received an email response from the District Manager after submitting my review survey from my receipt. I walk in to the store at 8pm, part of the lighting in the store is off, there are no employees to be seen or heard. A couple with a full cart of fabric could have walked right out as they were near the entry. After a few minutes I go to the counter and lay out my return - still no employees. I raise my voice and call for one. A female with a black Nike sweatshirt, no name tag, walks up with an attitude. She does not greet me nor apologize. After scanning my receipt for my 4 Halloween items she informs me she has to go get her handheld to scan the items. (This was a lie, as I used to work at JOANN's and the scanner on the register is what you use) I inquire about this when she returns to which she does not speak. A couple days later I go back to return any item I have not used as I do not want to give this store any money based on the treatment I have received. This same employee happened to be working nearby and came up after hearing my voice, with her back turned to talk to the friendly cashier about me. Still in the black sweatshirt without JOANN connections. I will never return to this location. I wonder if the company is trying to close this location as earlier in the summer the HVAC was so jerry rigged it was laughable and the lights are never fully on. See more..
