   I had always wanted to visit this place, as my grandfather was an instructor here during the war. It was great to see the buildings where the young men lived and trained to be WW2 pilots. Our docent, Jerry was very interesting and informative, and the museum, although small, really gave a great view into the lives and times of the men who lived here. My son and husband were especially interested in the hangar, where an old WW2 plane is being rebuilt, and enjoyed talking to the men who are working on it. We spent about 3 hours here, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I would certainly recommend it to anyone interested in history, and aviation. See more..
