    Vampire Stalkers/Mystic Falls Tours-Vampire Diaries/Originals Tours image
We visited Covington for a short TVD weekend, and were lucky enough to find an afternoon spot on the Vampire Stalkers tram tour with Haley and Larry. The tour is AWESOME and way more than we expected! This is the ONLY tour that has access to the Lockwood Mansion home, and the tour guides are so amazing and knowledgeable - it was an absolute blast and we cannot recommend it enough. If you are a TVD fan and want to hear stories of the cast and filming, this is the tour for you! Thank you again, Vampire Stalkers! See more..
  2. 5.0 Town Square Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar (46 reviews)
    - Friendly Establishment
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Speciality & Gift Shops
Town Square Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar image
Stopped in while checking out the town of Covington yesterday with my family. I was met by the most lovely young lady who I assume is the owner of this establishment. She guided me through the tasting process and led me to a few that she thought I would like. I was overwhelmed by the number of flavors and styles of oils and vinegars. They also have a lot of other tasty goods to sample and purchase including jams, salsas etc. Left about $70 lighter but with some delicious goods that I am sure to enjoy in the near future. Loved the little recipe cards as well that they provided for inspiration. Loved the store, the hospitality and the town I will return. See more..
  3. 5.0 Main Street Trolleys (24 reviews)
    - FRIENDLY FUN PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGEABLE COMPELLING ... DEFINITELY A MUST RAIN OR SHINE
Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Ghost & Vampire Tours • Shopping Tours • Movie & TV Tours
    Main Street Trolleys image
I've taken several different tours with them and have even gone back to take the same one twice. Each time was like a new experience. You're in controlled temperature on the trolley which is nice with Georgia's bipolar weather. You stay cool in the summer, warm in the winter and dry every time. The team is incredible and truly gives everyone an epic experience. The owner, Brad, is so nice and accommodating. He supports his community and the other businesses within it. He goes above and beyond to let his patrons know their business is appreciated. The tour guides, Laura, Karenda, and Sabrina, all add their own bit of southern flair and make you feel like you've known them all your life. If you're lucky enough to get all 3 of them at once, you will be laughing for days. I always recommend to everyone I know to take a trolley tour at least once when they're in town. They all say the same thing after. "It was fun." See more..
  4. 5.0 Eastside Trail (15 reviews)
    - Safe, Scenic & Well Maintained Trail
Spent 1-2 hours Biking Trails • Hiking Trails • Jogging Paths & Tracks
    Eastside Trail image
Running 2.5 miles from downtown Covington to Eastside Highschool, the Eastside Trail is Newton County's newest multi-use greenway trail. Opened in early 2013, the 10-foot-wide concrete path begins off Ramsey Drive in Covington, just west of the Newton County Public Library. The first .6 miles meander through a woodland area behind the library and the Newton County Health Center. After winding gently though the woods over rolling terrain, the trail drops down to cross Martin St at the intersection with Hazelbrand Rd. The trail features four wooden boardwalk sections that traverse forest wetlands and a tunnel beneath the Covington Bypass Rd that allows pedestrians and cyclists to pass safely beneath the traffic overhead. On the east side of the bypass, the trail continues east and then runs between pasture land and woods south to the high school. At the northern endpoint parking is available behind the Newton County Health Center (8203 Hazelbrand Rd NE, Covington, GA 30014). Visitors walk through Chimney Park to access the Eastside Trail. At the southern endpoint visitors can park at Eastside High School (10245 Eagle Drive, Covington, GA 30014) when school is not in session. See more..

    Wildart LLC image
My daughter and I visited Wild Art during a mom/daughter trip to Covington. We walked in and asked about paint classes, and were shown to an area where easels were set up. You could choose among dozens of different paintings to try. The teacher (and owner?) Ann set us up and taught us both, step-by-step, how to create these paintings. Meanwhile, great music was playing in the background. It was one of the highlights of our trip. See more..

  13. 4.0 Ashton Hills Golf Club (5 reviews)
    - Nice but needs some attention
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
    Ashton Hills Golf Club image
Nice golf course layout especially for the mid thirties greens fees. Fairways were good, but the cart paths and drainage need attention. Water was very low when we golfed. Greens were very good and readable. Food ordered at the turn from the clubhouse was ready and very good. Clubhouse seems to be showing its age. Biggest disappointment was we started on 10 and when we made the turn they started a tournament right behind us. The threesome behind us push hard (we were on schedule for a sub 4 hour round) and took away from the day. See more..

This is a safe, quiet, family friendly park surrounded by neighborhood homes. Overall we had a very good experience. Located at 3120 Conyers Street in the heart of Covington. Open 24 hours a day. The Fly Trap image
We went here for a birthday party. The lady that did the party was pretty short when asked a question, she was short staffed and it was just her there to handle 20 plus people. We were only aloud to go to certain parts of the gym. The party room was in the lobby and the children and adults had to sit on the floor. Other than that the trapeze was very entertaining.
