- 5.0 Chippewa Candy Shop (34 reviews)
-Good stuff
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
OK, so the Chippewa Candy Shop may NOT be recommended by your dentist, but it's just the place your sweet tooth needs. Select from a massive assortment of candies, chocolates, and coffee. Gazing upon jar after jar of sugary treats will make you feel like a kid (or at least an adult) in a candy store. They've got weigh-and-pay soft-serve ice cream, too! See more..
- 5.0 Autumn Harvest Winery & Orchard (26 reviews)
-Enjoyed
Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
We were greeted by as soon as we walked in. We were offered some samples prior to purchasing a wine tasking. She helped us make choices that would complement our tastes. The wines that she guided us to were spectacular. They have a shop with food choices so you can snack while enjoying the wine as well as take home some special treats. They had free apples outside too. Overall, it was a very nice experience. See more..

- 5.0 Heyde Center for the Arts (4 reviews)
-Magical Place
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Concerts • Theaters
I've been here many times for plays and events and it always wows me when I walk into the building. It used to be the old Catholic High School in the 1900's but now they renovated it to house art displays and plays. If you are in Chippewa and there is an event at the Heyde Center, I would definitely recommend going. There is just something special about the place. See more..

- 5.0 River Inn Bar (2 reviews)
-If you like wings, this is the place to be.
Bars & Clubs
Wings seem to be about the only thing on the menu. They are huge and pretty tasty. You can get a small order or for a couple bucks more, you can get all you can eat. If you want any sauce for the wings, there is a charge for that. Service was pleasant and they come around with a big pan every so often with more wings. See more..
- 5.0 Baier's Bar (1 review)
-Best pizza
Bars & Clubs
We are locals and live by this bar but we are food snobs and know great pizza. This place is it I like this pizza better than Fill Inn Station which is widely accepted as chippewa's best pizza. Not to take away from Fill Inn it's great pizza. Baiers has a seating area if you don't want to be in the bar and has other good food but great pizza and 1919 on tap. See more..

- 4.5 Lake Wissota State Park (75 reviews)
-Hi Diane!
State Parks • Parks
We love Lake Wissota State Park for camping, which we've done twice in the past year. The people at the office (especially Diane!) are just great--super helpful and friendly. It's not a fancy campground; you're not going to have events organized for you, and you'll swim in the lake, not a pool, but it has decent showers, space between most sites, and a beach. You can rent canoes and kayaks for $15 for an hour or $50 for three hours. They have some great sites that would be nice for groups. Oh, and they have a dump station, which is nice. The only thing I would say could be better is the aesthetics of the water at the beach; it has stuff floating in it, so the dogs wouldn't drink from it, but they had a ball swimming next to the people beach. Very nice park, and we'll be back! See more..
- 4.5 Old Abe State Trail (61 reviews)
-Peaceful beautiful scenery
Biking Trails • Hiking Trails
Trail was very nice . We started at Jim Falls and headed North the first day. We biked to Cornell and then headed back. Cornell has a nice state park that you can bike through but we ran out of time. Jim Falls to Cornell is 12 to 13 miles. Jim Falls to Chippewa Falls is about 12 miles but we didn't enjoy this area as much. See more..
- 4.5 Chippewa River Distillery & Brewster Brothers Brewing Company (41 reviews)
-So. Many. Options!
Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries • Breweries
My husband and I had already done the Leine tour a few years ago and found ourselves here in late September. We'd originally found the place because of its dog-friendly patio but of course it was raining on the day we went. Inside is nice with plenty of seating and so many drink options! Beer plus hard liquor - I had a Bloody Mary made with dill vodka and horseradish vodka, and I picked up some lavender gin for a friend. If you're not into bloodies there are many other cocktails, mules, and craft beer. See more..

- 4.5 Ojibwa Golf & Bowling (15 reviews)
-Way To Enjoy A Afternoon
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM Game & Entertainment Centers
Very well kept course. Par 3,4 and 5's. Somewhat more difficult for me as I am use to the Tucson AZ courses and you get much more roll. I walked 9 holes and there were some hills to pull the cart up so if you are having any walking issues you may want to get a cart. For the rates it was just above average for what I am use to paying for 9 walking but not enough to stop me from going back the next time I am visiting. Great clubhouse for some refreshments afterwards with a nice patio setting. See more..

- 4.0 Area 178 (1 review)
-Interesting set of trails
Spent 2-3 hours Hiking Trails
There are three types of trails here, wooded dirt biking trails, mowed trails, and asphalt trails. We did not walk the pave trail. You can walk past swamps, water, the river down from the damn and woods. Not everything is marked. If you do not have a map the named trails mean nothing and they crisscross other trails. We used a hiking trail app to help us navigate. We did not go under the bridge to the other section. There are multiple access points. Enjoyable walk. See more..
