    Just south of Chardon square, on the west side of route 44 is an access to Maple Highlands Trail. Ample parking with rustic restrooms. Picnic tables. Hike, bike or run the 8.2 miles through rolling hills to the lake. Must watch little ones on bikes because the trail crosses 3 light traffic intersections. Suggest packing food for lunches or stopping in Chardon first. Open 6AM to 9PM See more..

    We always find something to purchase. This one store had several "booths" displayed nicely. We spent almost 2 hours looking, reminiscing and learning. A few booths have repurposed antiques. An old electric toaster is now a cool nightlight. Staff and sellers are very helpful and will answer any questions. Make it a point to visit and support this fine establishment. See more..

    I went to Whitlam Woods Park on a Wednesday afternoon in late September. My goal was to get in a brisk walk for at least two miles, but this park only has about a mile of trails. This is a nice quiet walk in the woods with a little up and down. I was the only car in the parking lot and I never saw another person. I would come here again. See more..

    The water is always freezing. This park needs updating, its the same park for 30 years. They do have batting cages, go carts and a picnic area. Its a good local place for young kids but older kids will get bored quickly. See more..
