    Bridges
    Cedarburg Covered Bridge image
The park actually has two bridges over Cedar Creek and is a short drive from West Bend, Cedarburg, or Port Washington. The covered bridge is a beautiful structure that provides a shelter from the hot sun, rain, or cold depending on the weather and time of year. The park is also a great place to picnic and offers great opportunities to walk along Cedar Creek from either side. Great Blue Herons and other birds often visit the park as well. It is a very popular place for wedding and family photos. See more..
  11. 4.5 Ozaukee Interurban Trail (115 reviews)
    - Crowded in places but even being close to urban areas there is a lot of nature
    Biking Trails
    Ozaukee Interurban Trail image
The best location on this trail is just north of the city of Port Washington where most of the scenery is farm land and is peaceful. There is a small park near Port Washington where there is only one table so a person can relax. The best car parking lot is in Mequon. It would be nice if it was a trail in Sheboygan County and not so many streets. There are a lot of benches so a person can sit down when walking or biking. It is a bit dangerous in Grafton because of the busy streets and they are not very well marked. In Belgum there is a nice store. There is one very nice bridge near Port Washington which goes over the freeway. See more..
  12. 4.5 Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts (63 reviews)
    - Beautiful venue, excellent exhibits
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Speciality Museums
Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts image
This charming museum is located in an old barn, and the art is displayed against old weathered oak walls. There is just one main room, no permanent collection, and exhibits change frequently. While we were there an exhibit of Wisconsin quilters was on display, and the quality was outstanding. I should also mention that the facility is completely accessible, with a smooth ramp heading up from the parking lot and easily negotiable entrances and rooms. Looking forward to going back. See more..

My daughter and I stayed at the Washington House Inn then dressed up to see the Downton Abbey movie at the Rivoli. It was wonderful!!! The theater is run by the friendliest local volunteers. Tickets were $3.50 and we had a Snack box of popcorn, candy and soda for $4.00, so $15 for the 2 of us was a steal! The seats were comfortable and we had a wonderful time! Thank you Cedarburg for a lovely escape! See more..
  17. 4.5 Rebellion Brewing (18 reviews)
    - Amazing Beers and Setting
Thursday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM Spent 2-3 hours Breweries
    Rebellion Brewing image
I visited Rebellion Brewing on a daytrip after walking around in the Historic District of Cedarburg and in the adjoining Cedar Creek Park. Rebellion Brewing is a memorable place. The brewery is housed in the lower level of a historic mill building right next to the dam on Cedar Creek. The old mill race runs through the building, and we still see the water flowing from the turbine (not active) as we enter the brewery taproom. The taproom has historical and quirky decorations. The bartender was friendly and explained the styles of beers for my flight selection. Sat outside on the patio under trees; had fantastic views of the creek and the waterfall. The setting and building are truly unique and worth a stop especially if you want to check out beers. The patio seating is the perfect place to relax with scenic outdoor views. Great beers and a wide variety too. Rebellion Brewing is definitely a place to check out when visiting Cedarburg. The beers and the setting are amazing. See more..

    The Gem Shop image
We are The Gem Shop, Inc., a family run business specializing in gem and minerals for 48 years. The Gem Shop is a true lapidary, from the mining of fine agates and jaspers to the cutting of unique designer cabochons. Our world–wide contacts and over 40 years in business have allowed us to gain a vast knowledge of the world’s rock, gem, and lapidary markets. We offer a wide variety of items including bookends, tumbled stone, mineral specimens, geodes, jewelry, polished agate slices, chakra sets, fossils, lamps, educational kid kits, zodiac stones, and more. Come and dig in the rock yard, which has tons of various types of rock in barrels and bins. When the snow obscures the rock yard, our basement remains open with its boxes and bins full of rock. Come see our 8000 lb Arizona petrified wood log which was collected in 1910 from the Petrified Wood Forest in Arizona before it was designated a national park. This specimen stands about 6 feet tall. Bring your camera and take a picture! See more..

    - A Great Place for Wine & Fun
    Thursday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
    Chiselled Grape Winery image
I'm embarrassed to say I avoided Chiselled Grape because I thought it was the typical local winery with overly sweet wine. I was wrong. Not only can you get great wine produced by the owner's California grapes, called Sexy, but great wines from around the world. You can order a bottle, a glass or a tasting, and just keep going from there. The owner and the staff are fun and knowledgeable. Seating is offered inside and out, even during the winter months. See more..

After a visit to Cedarburg we stopped at Cedarburg Creek Farm. The employees were all extremely friendly! First off we took a free hayride with Rich our driver! We did not need to wait for full wagon - he just loaded us up and off we went. The views were beautiful and peaceful many pumpkin fields on the ride. Then we got back and the child with us bought tickets for the bouncy houses, we got hot chocolate and popcorn. Finally we were off to the petting zoo area and there were a variety of animals to feed and pet and a washing station for your hands after you were done! Pumpkins for purchase a fire pit was going - very cozy festive atmosphere! Thanks for all the fun! See more..
  28. 3.5 Sunshine Winery (3 reviews)
    - Did someone say Tropical Island in November??
    Wineries & Vineyards
    Sunshine Winery image
This was such a fun place to stop. It's a winery, but their wines are made with tropical fruits instead of grapes. It feels like you're on a tropical island when inside. The staff was fun and friendly and we had a great time. Samples for a small fee and totally worth it. So many fun new wines to try. They even had wine smoothies and offered the premade mixes to make them at home. Definitely worth a trip if you like something different. See more..
