What a awesome set up they have!! Took a group of teenagers and they had a blast!! They were hooked on paintball and can’t wait to go back!! I think I’ll give it a try next time as well. They also had a pool table and arcade games inside the pro shop. Had plenty of seating at picnic tables if you want sit and watch instead of joining in even though I recommend joining in the fun! They have a fully stocked pond for fishing so if it’s not your thing bring your rod and chair and relax catching fish! Highly recommend this place! Employees all were very knowledgeable and very helpful as this was our first time paint-balling. Can’t wait to go back!! See more..

2 museums in one- first the Cotton Museum= fantastic presentation on the history of cotton in SC. The gentlemen who gave us a brief intro was great. Friendly and knowledgeable about the subject. Clean museum with exhibits that are clear to understand and fascinating to view. Well done. The veterans museum section was outstanding as well- wonderful relics and uniforms on display. I've been to a lot of military museums and was quite impressed with the exhibits here. Great gift shop on the complex. Always enjoyed the local folklore of The Lizard Man, and items on the subject are here on sale. The Doc Blanchard statue across the street is stunning, as is the Gratitude Train on the street. A military jet is also on display outdoors. Overall, a wonderful museum. This world traveler was impressed! See more..

Bring bikes and you could ride for days in this campground. I love the seclusion and quiet, it is always a restful time. The artesian wells are always an attraction for my kids. They find them fascinating and we always see different wildlife from the last trip. See more..
  5. 4.5 Button Museum (30 reviews)
    - A fun and quaint road trip stop

We were on a road trip and had it on our list to see the Button Museum. It didn’t disappoint. We went into the hangar, turned on the lights and were met by JD who introduced us to the museum, turned on a DVD of Dalton Steven’s television appearances and offered to answer any questions that we had. When finished with questions, JD left us to peruse the museum and just asked us to shut the door and turn out the lights when finished. The collection is small but impressive and fun. We recommend this unusual stop to anyone who is looking for something to see that’s not the norm. See more..

The Swamp Log was a lovely store with interesting art!! We purchased these three cards which had art created from paper made from kudzu, then framed them for our home. You will also find other types of original art, in addition to bowls, carving boards, etc., made from salvaged swamp logs! It’s a very special place, and worth a trip just to visit this store!
