Cat's Eye Distillery is a small distillery located in a warehouse in an industrial park. They do not have a tasting room and is not zoned to sell products. The owner gives a great tour and explanation of the processes involved in making their products, from purchasing the corn from a local farmer, grinding it, boiling it, extracting the sugars, fermenting, and so on. There are no set hours as the owner comes and goes to the distillery at all hours of the day depending on what processes are currently needing attention. Call the owner, John, and let him know what time you would like to visit and he will make every effort to be there to show you around. See more..

Instead of another cold Saturday in front of the tv with the kids - we visited The Mad Potter. The staff was very friendly and did a great job on instructions. The prices range from $5 to $150 - average per the website is $20-$25/piece. We spent about an hour there - it did get busy so be prepared. They have a private party room, so that was nice to be able to accommodate all of us. It was a great bonding time (we are a blended family).
