Came here on a Sunday and pre-registered for the 10:30 am to 1:00 pm trail access. Getting in was smooth as they just ask for your name and then you go on in. We first visited the welcome center which had nice restrooms and a gift shop. Then we headed out on the trails. They are well maintained and there are many overlooks to the lake and one tower which gives you a great higher up view of the lake and surrounding area. In the summer make sure you bring bug spray as recommended. Masks are also being required to be worn in the welcome center and if you're within 6 feet of any anyone else on the trails. Not much this time of year to see but we enjoyed our walk. See more..
