  1. 5.0 Burford Theatre (1 review)
    - Outstanding venue
Historic Sites • Architectural Buildings • Civic Centres
What a beautiful theater! We came to town for a concert and it was a perfect venue. A storm rolled in near the end of the show and it was announced that we would be able to stay until it blew past. The staff was very pleasant, patient, and helpful. Bad luck makes for great stories, but that only pertains to the hail damage I was left with after that storm. (No reflection on the Buford- that's just weather in the midwest) We look forward to visiting again! See more..

It was breathtakingly gorgeous once you got to the bottom. The trek down there was a bit difficult and very trashy. Beware of broken glass. See more..

Once you exit off of HW166 to Cowley State Fishing Lake, follow the signs directing you to the waterfall. The lake itself is very pretty with lots of trees surrounding it. There are many stone docks for fishing with picnic tables on them. There are also two public restrooms as well. Once you reach the top of the falls via car, you can hike down to the bottom of the falls. I have bad ankles but was still able to hike it. When I first saw the falls I was in sheer awe. The falls were massive and beautiful with angelic streams flowing down from below. We walked around the streams and across big rocks. See more..

Just stopped by when I saw the sign. I thought I knew US history but I got feeling what happened to native Indians. See more..
