Had a Fourth of July celebration with family and friends. Rented the 32’ boat with restroom and slide. The boat was clean and in very good shape. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is second time we rented from them. Have not been disappointed. We did lose the anchor at one point. Thank goodness we were in fairly shallow water. After about 15 minutes it was found. We had 8 very good swimmers looking for it. The day was perfect besides that. See more..

Discovered the playground earlier this week. Took grandsons, ages 5 and 10 Monday late afternoon. Tuesday, they wanted to go there again. We spent 2 hours. Went again Thursday afternoon for more fun. As a travel nurse finding a good spa and massage therapist is a must when I’m working at a new assignment. Pearl’s Spa did not disappoint. Everyone working there is so friendly and the little items at the front were reasonably priced as well if your looking to do a little bit of shopping. I have been to over 50 different massage therapists throughout the world and I will absolutely say Kristen is in my top 5 of the best I have ever been to. I made sure to book her every couple of weeks and do it in advance as she is so good she can book up quickly. Due to scheduling last minute I booked Levi a couple of times and he does a great job as well. If I am ever back in the area I will not hesitate to book a massage with Kristen again and highly recommend pearls spa to everyone!!! See more..

21+ miles of trails for all ability levels. Although its surrounded by suburban Atlanta, the 1,500 acres give you a feeling of being deep in the woods. We've lived in Acworth for 3 years, and finally dropped in for dinner. I'm upset I hadn't stopped by earlier! The menu is awash with traditional bar selections, but the quality of ingredients and preparation are second-to-none. We had the chili-cheese tots, a French Dip sandwich, Hangover burger, Shrimp burger, and a plate of wings (medium buffalo). Everything was amazing - no, I'm not just saying that - I travel a lot for work and rarely find food of this caliber, even in "nicer" or eclectic restaurants. Specifically, the shrimp burger was a burger patty made Entirely of shrimp! My wife said it was phenomenal. The beef burgers, while cooked well, remained juicy and flavorful. The French Dip and Au Jus were right on the money - nearly a beef sandwich worthy of Chicago acclaim. In short, we'll be going back - and hope you do, too! Enjoy! See more..

What an awesome local haunted house, love the fact they keep changing it up every year. This year it's two haunted houses for one price. They combined the first and second one to make one really big scare. I've been bringing the girls here since they were little, great family tradition. A large and nice marina inside Red Top Mountain State Park on Lake Alltoona about 30 miles N W of Atlanta. It is off Exit 285 of Interstate 75 just North of Lake Point Station, a big sports complex at Exit 283. The marina does boat rentals, service, repairs and sales: from personal water craft to pontoon party boats. It has lots of boat slips and docks with gas and electricity hook ups, restrooms and a grille. It is a fun place after a beautiful drive to it thru scenic Red Top Mountain State Park. This could be an incredible campsite if some small changes were made. (Dumpster was overflowing with trash and trash was all over the waterline. Also, there was no easily identifiable number [that they pick up] to call in case of emergencies... Our gate pass didn’t work and no one picked up the number we called) Overall, the site was great, the ducks/geese and cat that visited on a daily basis were awesome. Our neighbors were great. The staff was great. I just wish, that with this price, we would have daily trash pick up, well maintained bathrooms and trash picked up off the water line. Just didn’t appear to be anyone around that was checking on anything throughout the day. IF you so stay here... Site 35 is the best... Level, best view, largest site, and if you have kids, there’s a perfect spot to to enter the water! See more..
