   Iyake suspended lake is said to be the only one in Africa and second in the world. It is located at Ado-Awaye town;about 20mins drive from Iseyin in Oyo state,Nigeria. The view of the lake at the top of Ado-Awaye mountains is mesmerizing. You sure don’t want to miss this if you plan visiting Nigeria soon. See more..

   It opens during normal Monday to Friday working hours. Beyond this limitation, we had a smashing time. First, it was on the topmost floor of Cocoa House, so to visit it means riding the elevator up to the 24th floor. Then, the curator took us around and gave quite a good explanation and comments on the artefacts. Then came a couple of historical documentaries. To top it all, access to a roof balcony where we could see longs ways around Ibadan and do a photo shoot. Nice visit. The roof balcony is not okay for people who are afraid of heights. See more..

   My umpteenth time visiting the zoo, and while the variety of animals are still there, some were in very poor condition. The big game was gone: large python gone, only one Lion, one ostrich, one emu, one specie of bird in the aviary. Some cages are glaringly not well kept. Would I go again?    This green oasis of peace in Ibadan draws locals and travelers to its many attractions. Here, you can spot turtles, monkeys and peacocks at the Agodi Zoo, have a blast at the water park, stroll through the beautifully landscaped woods, go on a horse ride, and have a leisurely picnic on the lush lawn. There's even a paintball arena where you can have a face-off or even catch a tournament.    This is my number one place to visit on Ibadan, for it is an historical tower built on one of the seven hills on which Ibadan stands. On a clear day, one can see the Liberty Stadium on one side, and the University of Ibadan Clock tower on the other side. To the west, one sees Cocoa House and the entire CBD of Ibadan, while on the east and south are sprawling brown roofs iconic with the ancient city. See more..
