  1. 5.0 Outdoor Explorers Gozo, Comino, Malta (1.227 reviews)
    - Best skipper, best day of our holiday
Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Boat Rentals • Private Tours • Speed Boats Tours
Outdoor Explorers Gozo, Comino, Malta image
Our Skipper Josef was brilliant, he made sure we were happy with everything at every stage, did we want music, what sort, how loud, speed of the boat. Told us where we were going, when we got to crystal lagoon he showed us around asked if he wanted sun or shade. Helped with snorkels told us about the history, allowed us the time we wanted to spend there, moved on to Blue lagoon warned us about jellyfish and agin talked about the area. Made sure we were happy every step of the way. Such a lovely guy, felt like the experience and trip would not have been the same with someone different. We had a sunset ride home back to Malta and he allowed us plenty of photo opportunities. Helped us back on dry land and explained where to go, taxi information. He definitely made the experience for us. Would give more than 5 stars if it was possible See more..

    Kayak Gozo image
Everything was excellent, from talking to the owners before we booked to when we finished, but one thing which was a bit better than any other Kayak trip we have been on was the pre trip safety talk & coaching re paddling. It is fantastic value for money and the guide & the assistant guide (photographer) were brilliant, friendly and helpful. If I could I would go again tomorrow morning but our holiday is over. Within 24hrs we received photos from them by email also. This was great value, highly recommend it!!!!!! See more..
  4. 5.0 Bubbles Dive Centre (625 reviews)
    - Incredible diving experience
    Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Bubbles Dive Centre image
Absolutely loved this dive Centre, I just completed my advanced open water after a four year break from diving. My instructors Eyal & Luna were incredibly professional and really knowledgeable not only about diving, but about also the island of Gozo which shaped our entire holiday. I completed 6 dives over 2 days, in which there was no more than 4 divers per each dive. The chill bar was a perfect place to get some food between dives and had some amazing vegan options, you must try the Buddha bowl it's incredible. My wife barley gets in the water, however she was made to feel welcome and was invited along with every dive regardless that she wasn't diving. I picked to dive with bubbles because they had a good ethos regarding environmental issues, it's something they are very passionate about. I would really recommend diving with bubbles if your visiting Gozo, you won't regret it. See more..
  5. 5.0 Scuba Kings Dive Centre (558 reviews)
    - A well run dive shop with a very personal service
    Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Scuba Kings Dive Centre image
We travelled to Malta for an action packed diving week and boy did Scuba Kings deliver. The diving shop is well run with Rich at the helm, the kit selection is excelent and the prices are very affordable. We met each morning at the dive shop and completed 10 dives during our trip. We ticked all the Gozo classics off our bucket list with any site request met by Scuba Kings. Nothing was too much trouble, they organised a boat trip to dive P31.... they took us over to mainland Malta on the ferry to dive the P29 wreck! As one of the only BSAC centers they also helped to finish the depth progression of one of the group members. The instructors were fab, we dived with Sabba, Mick and Derek - all very knowledgable and their love for diving in Malta is very contagious. I felt safe under their supervision and very well looked after. Cant wait till next summer! See more..

You just know you are in very experienced, very capable and very safe hands. Barry our Guide was great, very friendly, very thorough and he looked after us incredibly well. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a brilliant time diving in Gozo this year, it was great fun and very relaxed. Thank you. I would thoroughly recommend Gozo Aquasports for both dive training and recreational guided diving. See more..

Ta’ Mena is owned by the Spiteri family and was founded by the late Carmena, popularly known as Mena. In 2002 the Spiteri Family decided to regenerate the agricultural land which used to be a fruit and vegetable garden, thus realising their late parents’ dream of integrating agriculture with tourism so that one sector sustains the other. Nowadays we produce typical Gozitan food, including our own DOK wines, cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, traditional sweet tomato paste, jams, honey, carob syrup, liqueurs and more. See more..

    Blue Waters Dive Cove image
We had such an amazing experience at blue water diving in Gozo and can recommend free diving with them to everyone. Even though we arrived late and stayed till after closing hours, the staff showed so much kindness and patience and were eager to explain. We’re a family of six with different levels of energy and skill, but it was no problem! Everyone had fun and were able to tag along, and our guide, Andrea, would excitedly explain us stuff about diving. The whole time we felt safe, had fun and now we can’t wait to go scuba diving tomorrow. All the best to Andrea and the rest of the team! See more..

What a wonderful experience, bot for beginners and more experienced riders. The best in Malta and Gozo for sure. Joe is a very kind, funny and helpful man with a big heart for animals. His horses are very well taken care of! We went for a 2 hour sunset walk at €50 pp, and it definitely was worth more. Amazing unforgettable experience. Really beautiful views, well behaved horses and enjoyable experience. Want to go riding? Gozo stables horse riding is where you need to be. ❤ See more..

    Gozo Fun image
The team of GozoFun is just excellent: very fast in answering my questions ( FB messenger), very helpful to organize my trip to the bay and whats best: professional guide and v.good equipment: super inflatable board, the paddle was also good and not too heavy (as it is very often the case at rentals). We had somebody on the tour who was for the first time on a board, easy. When it gets too wavy you can just sit on the board ow. Try it out and get the feeling to see thtough turquois crystal clear waters ver deep - so cool. And still save. It was great! Thanks to Simon from @gozofun for this amazing tour. We vome back See more..
  15. 5.0 Islands Tec Dive (125 reviews)
    - Excellent first diving experience
    Monday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Islands Tec Dive image
I did the Basic Diver with Islands Tec Dive and am very happy with my choice of dive center. The communication in advance was completely uncomplicated. On my request I got a super fast feedback. On the day itself I was picked up by Manuel at the ferry terminal and we went directly to the dive site. Manuel took the time to explain everything to me at the beginning, so that you really understand why you have to behave how. This gave me security and also took away some of the nervousness. You can tell that Manuel has a lot of experience and knows exactly what he is doing. The dive itself was indescribable. Really a great experience! Due to the very good support I felt safe and in good hands at all times. After the dive there was tea and cookies. I can only warmly recommend the diving school. A great experience with a very professional and experienced team! Thank you very much and see you next time! See more..
  16. 4.5 Azure Window (3.430 reviews)
    - Wild camped here and was worth it
    Geologic Formations
    Azure Window image
Did a long trek to reach this place. Until a certain hour it’s packed with tourists and people, so not very enjoyable, yet there is still a lot to see for those who like to walk and explore and not only to arrive, take a pic and leave. After a mandatory 15min boat ride(4€) under /in the middle of giant rocks to see where one the now collapsed “window” stood, you can reach the cliffs and go exploring the coast left(nobody does), or reach the famous blue hole right. (Wear proper shoes as especially during the high tide there is a wet and sharp cliff to be done.) U will be rewarded by a beautiful tiny spot where to jump into the blue hole or simply sunbathe on the flat stones. I camped on the short flat stones and the view early morning were breathtaking. Please remember not to litter See more..
  17. 4.5 The Citadel (3.187 reviews)
    - Citadel with Combo Museum ticket a great way to spend a few hours.
Historic Sites • Ancient Ruins • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Castles
    The Citadel image
A great place to spend a few hours. It's definitely worth getting the combo ticket that includes the visitors centre and 4 other museums in the Citadel. If the weather is poor then you can pop in and out to warm up or dry out. The graffiti in the Old Prison is fascinating and the rooftop garden of the nature museum offers great views of the citadel. 18. 4.5 Gozo Ferry (3.005 reviews)
    - Recommend this to get from Malta to Gozo
    Ferries
    Gozo Ferry image
Brilliant service to get to and from Gozo . We previously used the service as foot passengers ( bus terminates next to the ferry on both islands ) this time we drove on and it was really easy , you only pay on the way back from Gozo and don’t have to leave the car ,( €15 per car + €5 per extra passengers) simply drive up to the booth then drive on , we were amazed how quickly they get the vehicles on and off .Crossing is approx 25 minutes , there’s a small shop / cafe on board for refreshments Really pleasant journey See more..
  19. 4.5 Xlendi Beach, Cliff and Caves (1.148 reviews)

Xlendi Beach, Cliff and Caves image
This perfectly-rectangular bay is lined on two sides with residential blocks and restaurants along the promenade. There’s also cordoned-off swimming areas with lifeguards and a concrete diving platform for the brave/show-offs. A variety of small craft are moored in the bay making it even more picturesque. 20. 4.5 Ta' Pinu National Shrine (959 reviews)
    - A Condensation of Maltese Faith
    Monday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Churches & Cathedrals
    Ta' Pinu National Shrine image
Ta Pinu clearly holds a position on catholic faith and Maltese culture. The recent additions of stunning mosaics add to an already gorgeous setting, where a modestly decorated (by Maltese standards) church hides the rose of an ordained miracle. The back rooms are the most important to stroll through: no matter your faith or belief, seeing the many hundreds of stories of those whose faith is concentrated and condensed on these walls is inspiring and touching. 21. 4.5 Gozo Pride Tour (722 reviews)
    - Jeep Tour
Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Sightseeing Tours
    Gozo Pride Tour image
I booked the jeep tour of Gozo island at the last minute after my arrival in Malta. We had a private transfer to the harbour and private boat to Gozo. There we had 3 jeeps waiting for us. All tourists were either French, Swiss or German so I was the only one on the English tour. Obviously all the guides speak English so not a problem. The tour takes you all around the island and, at some point, you can even take a boat for a ride around the cliff for 4€. You are also taken to the beach for a swim. It was a very nice day, I had a lot of fun and I’d definitely do it again. See more..
  22. 4.5 Dwejra Bay (672 reviews)
    - Beautiful, scenic place
    Nature & Wildlife Areas
    Dwejra Bay image
November 2018 (not 2019) We spent only about 45 minutes in the area, but that was enough to see how beautiful it is. The Azure Window collapsed in March of 2017, but the place is still pretty amazing to visit. There's no beach here, and I only say that because some people have wondered about swimming here....doubt you're gonna be able to do that. It's a beautiful place, considering what's no longer there. If you go onto YouTube, you can see short videos of the remains of the Azure Window underwater. :( November 2018 (not 2019) See more..
  23. 4.5 Blue Hole (517 reviews)
    - Beautiful, clear water
    Geologic Formations
    Blue Hole image
I wasn’t expecting much but this was well worth a visit. Easy to get the bus there from Victoria. Beautiful spot to swim even without a snorkel (though that would make it better). But definitely bring reef shoes to climb over the rocks (people were doing it in bare feet but it looked painful!) and if you’re not a strong swimmer head to the inland sea instead. Arrive before 2pm to get the best photos of the water. Lunch at the Azure Window restaurant was fantastic - there’s also a couple of food trucks around. See more..
  24. 4.5 Inland Sea (490 reviews)
    - Absolutely beautiful
    Bodies of Water
    Inland Sea image
November 2018 (not 2019) While everyone else walked towards where the Azure Window used to be, I went alone to the Inland Sea. It's a beautiful and quiet area with colored bay doors where (I think) fishing boats are kept. I saw many people practicing with their SCUBA gear, and this is apparently a famous place for beginner and novice divers. There's also a small bar (the name of which, for the life of me, I cannot remember) with nice people. I had a quick beer there while just enjoying the view around me. I could live on Gozo.... 25. 4.5 St. George's Basilica (426 reviews)
    - Beautiful interior
Monday: Spent 1-2 hours Historic Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
    St. George's Basilica image
The basilica seems to be much more interesting than the cathedral, therefore I found it strange that my guidebook didn't contain a single mention about this place. Thankfully, TA came with some suggestion - you surely should not miss it. It's a baroque church built in 17th century. Inside it's covered with marble and gold stucco, therefore it is referred to as "the golden church" of Gozo. Do not forget to keep your head up - the ceiling is covered in paintings and richly ornamented. See more..
  26. 4.5 Xwejni Salt Pans (400 reviews)
    - Unforgettable - and a gorgeous walk.
    Mines
    Xwejni Salt Pans image
The salt pans are just gorgeous and worthy of so much than the quick drive past that many visitors seem to give them. It is possible to walk all the way from the town to the gorge at Wied il-Ghasri and then on the Giordan lighthouse along the beach road and later the beaches themselves. It takes several hours but is well worth the effort. Buses are excellent on the island and reliable so it's easy to do this and a much better way in my opinion to see the island as you see much more on foot, really taking in the views and the atmosphere. You can walk among the salt pans in places getting up close to them for some stunning photographs, stopping off to buy some salt from one of the small sellers by the side of the road if you wish. For me this walk was one of the best things I did during my week here - an unforgettable day. See more..
  27. 4.5 Church of St. John The Baptist (385 reviews)
    - Great vistas
    Monday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Churches & Cathedrals
Church of St. John The Baptist image
Come and explore the beauty that lies within this church. Learn about the history of the church and also about the transfer of another small 17th century church which was on the same site of the modern church today. Take a lift to the terrace of the Dome to enjoy a panoramic view of the marvelous island of Gozo. "Forget your troubles and admire god's creation" It is simply a must ... See more..

    Barbarossa Excursions image
We chartered the Blue Lagoon cabin cruiser for a private half day cruise around Comino, twenty five family and friends with enough room to be perfectly comfortable. I cannot thank the captain and crew enough for the day. We had swim and SUP in the blue lagoon, stopped for a very Maltese tea that we had brought with us (Pastizzi’s, Twistees, Cisk and Gellewza) at Santa Maria bay. This was followed by a nice trip around the small island, stopping at the Santa Maria caves before powering round for a very chilled dip in the Crystal lagoon. The icing on the cake was a short trip over to Malta’s paradise bay for Prosecco sundowners which were still ice cold due to the mountain of ice provided. What a day, all of the kids rated it as their top holiday moment. See more..
  29. 4.5 St. Andrew's Divers Cove (301 reviews)
    - Great team, memorable trip and dives
    Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    St. Andrew's Divers Cove image
Just came back from a great trip out to Gozo for diving primarily. Gozo has far more sea life than Malta, so there was lots to see. We were a group of x10 divers of varying abilities, but St Andrew's worked their magic to find dive sites that suited all and ones which wouldn't have the experienced divers feeling as if they were being held back. Dive guides were excellent (namely Stu, Patrick and Allan), but a special thank you needs to go out to Mark / Nathalie who worked hard to reorganise our departing trip to the airport as the airline postponed with less than 9 hours' notice! Am looking forward to a return trip, and to diving with St Andrew's Divers Cove again. See more..
  30. 4.5 Xerri's Grotto (230 reviews)
    - Well worth visiting if in Xaghra and looking for somewhere cool to go
    Caverns & Caves
    Xerri's Grotto image
We really enjoyed this. It is so different and the grotto is much bigger and far more interesting than we thought it would be. We have been to Xaghra many times and this was the first time we visited the grotto. Well worth the 2.50 euro entrance fee aThough we were a group of 7 with kids and it was quite costly would be good if there was an entry ticket for a family. Steps were a bit narrow and it was quite claustrophobic but very cool and a welcome respite from the sun. See more..
