   Sabratha is not as big nor as impressive as Leptis but still worth the visit especially as the theatre is in a better state that that in Leptis. As you walk through the doors you can see the theatre on your right, the sun shinning on it and showing itself off in all its glory. There is a Punic structure, the Mausoleum of bes, which still stands. Also there are several arches which make an ideal place to take a photo. Near the forum there is also a temple in which the steps are still intact, allowing one to climb up and get a better view and imagine what it must have looked like back in the day. If you like mosaics then take time to look at where you step - this place is full of stunning mosaics in incredibly well kept conditions. The museum was not open when I visited but I have heard from others who have been that it is worth the visit Toilets here are in a terrible state so I recommend going before leaving on your trip.
