Everything was great! Did 8 boat dives and 2 shoredives in 4 days. All the dives were sublime. I even extended my stay to be able to dive an extra day. The divemasters Morgane and Sue are great. Clear instructions and they take a lot of time to give everyone the necessary explanation and think along with the individual diver to improve their level. I am a certified advanced diver and after these days I became a much better diver. They really know what they are doing and show a lot of things underwater that I would have missed otherwise. Their knowledge of marine life is impressive. Location couldn't be better. A beautiful reef in front and boat dives on the most beautiful spots of Curaçao just around the corner. On my next visit I will definitely dive here again. This has made my visit to Curaçao! Thank you Go West Diving! See more..

One of the highlights of Curaçao and a great way to explore the more rugged part of the island. Unfortunately, the mountain route of the park (hich is the most exciting route to drive, with steep climbs and descends) closes at 10 o'clock in the morning in order to avoid people hiking up the mountain (many accidents with unprepared tourists happen). All hiking and climbing needs to be done between 06:00 and 10:00. , There also were a lot of bees and wasps around, which could be a nuisance. Nonetheless the northern route is interesting to drive too, but if you come early you can drive both. Do bring enough water with you, even when you are in your car The minimum recommended amount of water for hiking is two litres! See more..

This beach was unique. The snorkeling with the turtles was pretty cool. The beach itself is very rocky and felt dirty. There is no Public restroom here, but there is a bathroom which costs $1. So what is someone to do when they don't have dollar bills? I was taken pity on by the man selling beach chairs, which was so incredibly kind. He gave me a $1 for the bathroom. But then the bathroom had no working light and was kinda creepy. So come prepared. I wish I had known that ahead of time. But I did snorkel for quite awhile with the turtles and that was worth it. We were only there a couple hours and left, which seemed like plenty of time at that beach. See more..

I Have been staying in westpoint and have enjoyed the food many times at Playa Forti. I have brought many friends and clients even during busy days and The food was always great, the service friendly and very quick especially for caribbean standards! The fish is always fresh and although I do not eat meat I heard from a local who took me to lunch that the beef stoba it was a lot and delicious! I can highly recommend The Tuna ceviche with a nice glass of white wine or local beer. It is a million dollar view and in all my travels around the world this is definitely one of the most beautiful views ever. See more..

Takes a while to get there on a dirt road. It’s marked, so it’s not that hard to find. Once you get there, it’s a very short walk to the hole. Not really a lot to see other than a hole in the rock, but a cool place nonetheless. We were the only ones there, we stayed for about 15 minutes to take in the views and left. See more..

Monday 18th April and we visited this small Church, which is opposite Playa Grandi on the Northwestern side of the Island. One of the most striking features of the Church is it's tall bell tower with a painting of the Saint towards its base. The courtyard had two rows of flags, blustering in the wind, creating a corridor leading up to the front door. Two rows of simple benches form a tiled aisle leading to the main altar at the back of the Church. The main feature of the Altar was a large crucifix of Jesus Christ on the back wall. In front of it was the altar table with a golden tabernacle at it's centre, which was surrounded by large displays of bright yellow and white flowers. Simple picture depicting the Stations of the Cross were around the walls along with other religious images. There were statues of the Virgin Mary and another of St Peter standing in a small boat, both surrounded by blue lights. There is coloured glass windows about the Church the most impressive is the one over the entrance door. St Peter, a former fisherman, he is the patron saint of netmakers, shipbuilders, and fishermen, hence the statue with the boat. There is a statue of St Peter across the road from the Church, holding the keys of heaven, he is also the Patron Saint of locksmiths. See more..

It depicts the Saint with one hand held aloft and holding as if delivering a sermon. While in his other hand he is holding two keys, possibly the keys to the kingdom of Heaven. It all stands, in brightly painted walled area, on a concrete patch painted green to resemble grass. Engraved on the plinth is the year 1965, which we assumed was the year it inaugurated by Joannes Maria Michael Holterman, Bishop of Willemstad and Rev. Thomas. J. Wolfers, Pastor of Westpunt.
