Pleasantly surprised!
Not another dusty regional museum with some boring exposition of local history. This museum has lots of interesting artefacts starting from pre-history, everything is very well organized, supported with modern interactive technologies. It gave a great overview of the significance of Roskilde for the Danish history.

Nice little museum
I was on a day trip to Roskilde out of Copenhagen and wanted to do everything which was on the Copenhagen Card (including this museum). This was a small, interesting museum and I really enjoyed it. It was informative about the history of Roskilde and the surrounding areas. Religious and historical context was presented for the various time periods. When I was there, some construction was going on inside, so maybe there is even more to see now!
