Great place, bur mostly based on Danish Music history
RAGNAROCK, listed on National Geographic 2017 bucketlist of the 15 must-sees museums in the world, is Denmark's national and cultural contemporary museum in Roskilde. With music as the focal museum traces the history of youth culture from the 1950s until now. RAGNAROCK is a vibrant cultural center with an ambitious event program, concerts, a cafe, a fascinating museum shop and temporary exhibitions besides the permanent exhibitions.

Different exhibition
Super good museum for people interested in Danish rock history and a exciting insight into Danish youth culture for several decades exciting insight into Danish youth culture for several decades Exciting, fun and different exhibition. Much based on watching screens and listening with headphones. May seem a little "lonely" that way. The area around seems a bit like a construction site. I must especially highlight the staff there were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The air in the exhibition was very stuffy and seemed as if the system did not work!

If you`re into music..
If you happens to be in Roskilde/Denmark, and dont wanna se another viking, then this might be of interest, the museum contains alot of danish music history througout the last decades. There are things to try for kids(teens) and adults relating to music, but properly not that fun for the smaller kids. All in all, a good quality museum, not that expensive, done in 1½ to 2 hours time.
