Beautiful, very crowded. Pay attention if you use the lockers!
The place is very beautiful and I am sure the experience is totally a different one if you visit when it's not totally crowded. So if you are a tourist, the most friendly advice: don't go during the weekend. Secondly, pay attention if you plan to use the lockers: it cost you 1 euro coin (or 10 dkk coin, of you have one), which you don't receive back. If you forget something inside and you want to open and close it again, it will cost you another 1 euro coin. On a side note, this is the only place in Copenhagen that charges you extra for this feature, so if you go to any other place to visit (like a museum), the lockers are offered for free. This is free to visit if you've purchased the Copenhagen card.

    Aquarium 4 stars, Restaurant 2.5
We've been to many aquariums of the world and this was fine. Our whole family (11 and 14 year old children) enjoyed our day here. There are no complaints about the aquarium, it is just not as spectacular as others. If you only have a few days in Copenhagen, maybe you can skip this. If you have plenty of time, you will enjoy a couple hours here. We were disappointed by the restaurant. The view is great and the food OK. We waited a REALLY long time standing in line to order our food. It looked like everyone had a long conversation with the person taking their orders. The food was pricey and fries did not come with the hamburgers. The fish and chips didn't have enough sauce and the chairs were uncomfortable. Sometimes, the little things just add up.
