Best beach in Denmark
Here you can stay on a White Sandy beach, that is more than 60 kms long and normally clean water all pending on the Wind and the current

Nice beach!
This is obviously Marielyst's main attraction and possibly Denmarks best beach. Severeal km of fine white sand! Shallow water, perfect for kids. It such a long beach, that if you want you can easily find your own private spot. There is a small road going paralell with the beach behind the dunes all the way (Digevej). Its nice for walking and jogging, but not allowed for bikes. With a bike you can use roads futher inlands to reach every spot. The dunes and the sand meadows with its flora and fauna is also very nice. It will be windy, but my impression is that it always is in Denmark. Bring a kite for the kids and maybe a beach tent for yourself. Lifeguard service on the beach outside the boardwalk of the mainstreet.
