A very impressive large circular domed church very much worth visiting
The dome of this church is visible over the top of some nearby buildings. There are clear notices on entry requesting silence, which was being observed by all. The large and spacious circular interior is very impressive overall. It is airy and bright and, especially the dome, where the colours used add to to the spectacle. The organ is set high on an alcove in the wall. The original foundation stone was laid in 1749, but the church was finally consecrated in 1894! A stone in an internal wall near the entrance contains the names of all presiding priests since that date. Definitely worth visiting

    Grand church
This ornate church with an impressive dome attracts many tourists throughout the day. We quietly slipped into one of the pews to contemplate the art and the architecture. At times, a guided tour of the dome is available for a small fee.
