    Wonderful diversity
With its Palm House, butterflies and museums it’s a terrific place to spend a couple of worthwhile hours. Ambling along the sylvan pathways impressive sculptures are in place. Artemis Med Hinden is one and another of Athena Lemnia is worth admiring. A magnificent palm house with its tiered layers contains superb diversity of plants, including succulents and cacti. A fine example of Combretum Fruticosum with its pendulous forms is attention catching. Gorgeous butterflies populate their house. Many beautiful species had alighted on orange slices that had kindly been left out for them. Everyone heeded the notice to ensure that on exiting they all remained behind.

Nice way to pass some time
This opens fairly early, which makes it a nice place to start the day before diving into museums. The palm house and butterfly garden charge a fee, so we decided just to walk around the grounds. Even in autumn, it was lovely, though I felt it was a bit more like an ordinary park with abundant tree signage than a botanical garden, if that makes sense. I might go regularly if I lived in the city, but I wouldn't necessarily feel the need to return on a visit.
