To enjoy Shangri La surroundings
We spent 2 full days in Shangri La. A local tourist guide Tsiering (Tony) who spoke good english showed us monateries, countryside and told us about the Tibetan culture. He was friendly, interesting and very helpful and will be looking after you if you call him up. He can be reached at [email protected] or at the Rockside hotel in the old town. There are a lot of things to do in Shangri La, including a beautiful walk at Shudu Lake, enjoy it!

The Balagezong Grand Canyon view is spectacular.
One of the best day trip you can to Balagezong National Park.Not very far from Shangrila 80 km around.Drive 1 hrs, rent car is easily.spectacular view of the Balagezong Snow mountains you will see.It takes hole 1 day trip. A Beautiful Journey (full of Love) from Lijiang to Shangri-La
We traveled from Lijiang to Shangri-la by tourist bus, my lovely sweet wife arranged this tour for us. traveling with her, so lovely so beautiful, she was enjoying the soundings, the nature and i was just enjoying her company , we visited many places there, every moment we spent together was so beautiful, no one can wonder what is love all about, if your love one is with you than every place on earth become paradise. but when you lose your love one than nothing left, no beauty in this world... nothing attractive... i wish she is here with me... how many years more i have to wait......
