We saw this shop as we were headed down the road. We swung in because our daughter is always on the hunt for skeleton keys when we travel. We were successful and found a few other fun things as well. We were there long enough that we were really glad they offer bathroom facilities! The staff was super friendly and helpful too!See more..
This old place used to be a general store founded in 1932. It was run by a member of the Flood family. If you are lucky, when you visit this antique shop you will be able to meet another Flood family member that owns the place. He was the nicest man and he loved to tell you all about the place and his family. It's a small place but seemed to have a little bit of everything from furniture, collectibles, wall art, jewelry, yard art, glass, china, toys tools and more. Be sure to visit the old house right next door because that is also part of the antique shop.See more..
4.0Junk In The Trunk(1 review) - don't judge a book by it's cover Antique Shops
At first glance you might think you've stumbled upon a junk yard. But once you start walking around outside you will see that there are many pieces of very interesting art that has been made from what many people would just throw away. Then you will start noticing pieces of "junk" that have not been made into art yet and if you are like me you will start seeing different things you could turn it into. There is also an indoor building that is more like an antique shop. The lady that was inside was amazing and we had a good time talking with her. The lady outside, however, was not as friendly and that sort of put me off. If you have an artistic flair you really should check this place out. One thing outside that did impress me was items that could hold water were turned upside down which was great since standing water would cause a terrible mosquito problem.See more..
There were so many neat things in this antique store. You can find vintage clothes/hats, vintage toys, furniture, glass, small collectibles, kitchenware, rustic items and more. Unfortunately I did not think the place had a good flow and some of the booths were tight and cluttered. We didn't bother to go into those because it isn't worth it to trip over something or break something. Even some of the main aisles were too narrow and had things sticking out in it that made it easy to catch your toe on (I did).See more..
