Classic Tulum Bike Tour
Tulum (Spanish pronunciation: [tu'lum], Yucatec: Tulu'um) is the site of a Pre-Columbian Maya walled city serving as a major port for Coba.[1] The ruins are situated on 12-meter (39 ft) tall cliffs, along the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.[1] Tulum was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Maya; it was at its height between the 13th and 15th centuries and managed to survive about 70 years after the Spanish began occupying Mexico. Old World diseases brought by the Spanish settlers appear to have resulted in very high fatalities, disrupting the society and eventually causing the city to be abandoned.[citation needed] One of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites, Tulum is today a popular site for tourists.[1]

Classic Tulum Bike Tour
The Classic Bike Tulum Bike tour was fantastic! The ruins were beautiful and our guide Alondra (Sky) was truly outstanding. We have traveled all over the world and been on many tours and Sky stands out as one of the best guides we have ever had. She was a fantastic combination of information and humor and was great about making sure everyone on the tour (with varying bike experience) was safe and included. Highly recommend this tour, however would recommend you feel comfortable on a bike in fairly busy town streets before you sign up.

Beautiful, full of history
What an amazing place! I recommend to go early in the morning because there's nothing to cover from the sun and at noon it gets really hot. I atended with my husband and we joined a group to hire a tour guide that said he had mayan roots. And for sure he had huge knowledge about the place. I really recommend the tour guide experience.
